Christians in America

Why do we have to hide our faith? To appease modern day political correctness? I dont call homosexuals bad names so dont lie about me. I pray for them to find God and be saved from that ungodly lifestyle. God will indeed decide and you better watch it because you dont treat his servants very well.

You are allowed to be as open as you want with your faith, but don't get all butt hurt if people are not respectful of your preaching. Because to me, it would be the equivalent of my standing on the street corner preaching about how there is no god etc... You may respect my right to do that, but you wouldn't respect the beliefs themselves.

Are you a Christian? Look at the way they treat us. We have been spat upon and we have our faith mocked on a daily basis. How is that not persecution?

Hey, just be glad that you weren't a woman in Europe between the 14th and 18th centuries. Christians had a field day branding many as witches and subjecting them to various forms of torture and death.

You have your faith mocked daily? Yeah, that's extreme persecution, isn't it...

Nope, you don't have to hide your faith. How exactly do you hide your faith? Can you give me an example where you have had to hide your faith because of political correctness?

About homosexuals, I am forced to conclude that you do not read posts before you reply to them. I never lied about you. I was talking about christians who do persecute homosexuals.

Ooooh! I'd better watch out eh? The classic modus operandi of religious folk: shock and convert. Why would I be fearful of a sky god in your imagination?

You can disagree with us all you want but dont stand in our way

Teachers are not allowed to witness to their students. A school teacher's job is to teach moral values to their students. I have never seen Christians persecuting homosexuals. We want to lift them up to Jesus and see them get saved. Hell is a very real place of literal burning eternal torment. You'll wish you listended to me if you end up there

Why would a teacher need to witness to students? they're there to do a certain job, and that job is to educate students on subjects that have real apllications. Not people's personal opinions.

Hmmmph. His_word_is_truth replied to everyone else on this page but me.

Now I feel persecuted...

Because that teacher cares about his/her students and doesnt want them to burn in hell

I said teach things that have REAL applications, not personal opinions. The idea that we're going to burn in hell simply because of what we did not believe, is a personal opinion. It has no baring on the real world and it's applications.

Teachers are not allowed to witness to their students? A teacher's job is to teach, not affirm people's faith. And this is only true for state owned public schools. Private teachers can do what they want.

To preach Christianity in the public classroom, where parents choose to not have religion as apart of the curriculum, is forcing beliefs onto others who disagree or are not interested. I'm sure you wouldn't be too happy if you had a Muslim boss preaching to you about Mohammed in your workplace every day, harassing you that what you've been taught all your life is wrong and that his religion is right...all for the sake of your soul. His religion has no place being forced into your daily life and neither does yours.
