The Biblical narrative is that circumcision is a sign of the Mosaic Covenant, not that foreskins offend God.

I acknowledged that in my post -- but you cut that part out. I guess you didn't want it to get in the way of your argument? My point was that there are easier, less painful and less drastic ways to render such a sign. A tattoo, for example.
As far as the biblical narrative is concerned no other group is required to take on the practice. IMO, circumcision being ubiquitous in the Afroasoatic world suggests that the Biblical account was constructed to serve as a religious justification for a practice that was already well established among all Semitic peoples anyway. The practice predates the religion.
Quite so -- the Egyptians were doing it long before.

The study, by researcher Dan Bollinger, concluded that approximately 117 neonatal deaths due directly or indirectly to circumcision occur annually in the United States, or one out of every 77 male neonatal deaths."
And how many are killed by abortion? A much grimmer statistic.

No, partial birth abortion or just late term abortion.
Well, miscarriages are vastly more. And who could avoid them?

by the way, you mention late term abortions. Are you fine with early term abortions?

No, partial birth abortion or just late term abortion.
Those make up a slim minority of abortions and when they do happen are very generally necessary to preserve the life of the mother (such as my best friend who suffered head trauma and had to undergo a medically induced coma).

Viagra is a medication that treats that.
My wife & I discussed this as a possibility but when it comes to meds, I' very much the minimalist-- I take only what I must take. And my wife mentioned that there's a time and place for darn near everything, and we definitely had plenty of time in the hay.

However, do we really want aging people (males and females) to sire kids?
We have 8 grandkids, and they darn near wore us out, which is why ya have kids when you're younger! Now the youngest grandchild is ready to go to college. We are a VERY close-knit family.
