Classical Music Corner

Are they dedicated classical music stations?
Not dedicated, just a preference but a strong preference. They also have news, interviews, book reviews and other culture related content. It's about 80% music interspersed with vocal. And the music is 95% classical.
How much variety of style is there? Contemporary, classical, romantic, baroque....?
Mostly classic/baroque.
Yes, adverts are the bane.
For me the main reason to have them on but I also like classical music.

Rogue Theologian
"a piece lasting seventeen minutes and consisting wholly of "orchestral tissue without music"—of one very long, gradual crescendo. There are no contrasts, and practically no invention except the plan and the manner of execution."
Maurice Ravel
a fair critique

even Ravel was said to have not liked it
he penned it to relieve the music in his head

and there is a report.....someone in the audience said loudly
Ravel has gone mad!

he later replied.....she understands the work

As much as it pains me to say this, I do not agree with the late Frank Zappa about classical music....but with that said
