That sucks. I thought he'd be good as War Machine.

Apparently, no one was more shocked to hear that Don Cheadle would be replacing Terrance Howard, than Terrance Howard himself. The man didn't even know he got the boot until he read about it in an article!

Howard Says Being Replaced Was 'Surprise of a Lifetime'

If the movie execs or Marvel execs dropped Howard due to how much Howard was asking, then that's a new low and they should be flogged. Hopefully Howard leaving is just a silly rumor that got press.

Did anyone get the Iron Man movie? RF member Ralph C. got it but has explained that it doesn't have a commentary. Seems like ol' shellhead may take the double dip.

RF member Ralph C. (accidentally?) left it over my house. He bought the 2-disc Shell helmet version (the case is shaped like Iron Man's helmet). I have been viewing the Special Features a little bit every day and I will watch the movie again before giving it back but I am sorely disappointed that it does not offer a commentary.

The idea that a DVD would not offer commentary just blows my mind. What the hell is Favreau doing? He can't sit down for a couple hours and record his thoughts while watching the movie?
