Communism/Socialism v. Capitalism - which one is better really?

Realism?

1:You can't tell me Garbage Men or Fast Food Workers are more needed than Doctors.

2:I never said Firefighters get paid as much as Doctors, Firefighters are less important.

3:Doctors are less important than the CEOs

4:Explain how we are screwed by the CEOs?

5:We can't easily but they are not as important as CEOs.
1:Again, you need the whole, or nobody is important.
2:You said doctors get paid slightly less along with firefighters.
3:Nope
4:Check out the economy and housing problem...
5:How?

There's another thread just like this floating about recently. Socialism and capitalism are broad terms, used as hot words instead of definitively, and are necessary counterparts.

No country in the world can be called a truly socialist or capitalist country - all economies are mixed in some way. A healthy economy is able to respond to the complex factors that affect it. It's a flexible web full of capitalistic and socialistic qualities, and the best policy is the one that addresses a particular situation within its existing framework - not an overall slapped on "Capitalism/Socialism is best!!" ideal. As ideals, either term is meaningless and used solely to identify political parties, rather than economic solutions.

And because societies have incredibly complex ingredients, it's never a matter of whether socialism or capitalism is best, it's how policies are applied by the people who live in them in the context they're applied, and how they interact with all of the other ingredients. Some countries which proclaim to be very socialist are more capitalistic than some countries which proclaim to be very capitalistic. It doesn't matter what they espouse; how their economies operate matters.

And some countries are more fascist than anything else, but they're able to hide it under four feet of rhetoric about socialism versus capitalism and successful diversionary tactics through marketing and campaigning.

1:Again, you need the whole, or nobody is important.
You need some more than others, though. How does it make nobody important?
2:You said doctors get paid slightly less along with firefighters.
How did I say that? Please quote the words that said that.
4:Check out the economy
You mean of the Socialist environment we now live in?

More than with any other job, the responsibilities of a CEO diverge from the duties and the measurement.

A CEO’s responsibilities: everything, especially in a startup. The CEO is responsible for the success or failure of the company. Operations, marketing, strategy, financing, creation of company culture, human resources, hiring, firing, compliance with safety regulations, sales, PR, etc.—it all falls on the CEO’s shoulders.

Garbage men have few responsibilities, and even if they didn't exist we COULD survive by taking our own garbage to the waste/landfill or leave it around in our lawn. But of course we want Garbage Men so the world is a less stinkier place, but we CAN survive without them.

Why then do they have others do all of these jobs? The CEO isn't doing them.

What does that have to do with anything? If others don't do their work, they won't get their pay, I thought we agreed on that. what we are arguing is why others get paid a crap ton more than others.

Would you like a job and make no money or would you rather a CEO do your job? The CEO makes sure we do our job correctly.

Yes, I said you said that: "
2:You said doctors get paid slightly less along with firefighters."

Then I asked when did I say that, you quoted, then I asked how you got that to be this, and you said "Whoa where did I say that"
