Honestly, last night was like Christmas Eve to me. I was up until 5 am, just enjoying myself. I'm feeling more optimistic about the future. My coworkers and I are looking forward to hopefully having more money in our checks.

Me too. Its awe inspiring not to only see an electoral win but a popular win as well. It speaks volumes that people are sick and tired of their situation and want concrete permanent improvements in their personal lives and not bailouts that will only carry them for a very short while and then it's gone.

I doubt most could care about politics when they care about their own lives more in regards to the ability to pay their bills, put food on the table, keep a roof over their heads and even have something in savings for that peace of mind. I think that's why everybody voted for Trump because they were indeed better off 4 years ago than they are today and I hope the promises he's made will become a reality during his four year administration.

He's got good intelligent people now including some blue dog Democrats which is very good to see because I didn't think blue dogs existed anymore.

On 9/23 Harris said she supported getting rid of the filibuster to pass abortion legislation. So why shouldn't the republicans do this to restrict abortion nationwide? (They won't because Trump said he would not) But what is the argument against this?

I used to despise the filibuster , but later on I learned why it's there just like the Electoral College is there and had changed my tune on it.

I heard news reports that Biden invited Trump in to help with the transfer of power, and Trump accepted so that's a good thing. I also heard Harris had called Trump the congratulate him which I give her credit for.

No riots or looting so that's another good thing so I'm hopeful that a message has been sent to properly realign this country and so far I think things are going okay in that regard at least with the initials.
