I would say instead that some believers conduct themselves as they think Christ would expect them to behave.We behave the way Christ wants us to behave.

You conduct yourself in the manner that is becoming of someone who has a particular faith in Christ, and who holds particular views of Christ. I conduct myself in a manner that is aligned with most of the values with which I was raised, minus the religious impulse. Live and let live and do no harm to any person. This is the place from which I start.
