He said that America deserves a dictator.
Yup. But that's not the same thing. At least, it might not be.
I've made similar (albeit less extreme) comments about the media. For all that many of us decry the lack of balance and objectivity in the media, it's a situation that has only come about because of the willingness of consumers...of us in a collective sense...to encourage it through our decisions and purchases.
We have a biased and polarised media. We have the media we deserve.
Now...I'm not defending Jesse Kelly. It's more than likely he's not making some general point about our role as consumers in creating the situation we decry, but is instead just saying everyone are idiots and we've forced Trump to step in and take the reins. But it's at least possible that he has a larger and more relevant point, based on the limited evidence in this thread.

Yes, there is a distinction between "deserve" and "need." The news article said "need," while the Tweets say "deserve" (although I didn't check everything he said, so he could have said "need" elsewhere). I also agree that the people invariably get the media and government they deserve.
The thing that struck me in the article was that one of the comments said “Weimar problems eventually lead to Weimar solutions.” When things get so chaotic and out of control, it's a natural consequence for people to look to a strong leader to restore law and order.

Rubbish. The left in general prefers constitutional democracy -- one where everyone participates, but constitutional rules protect minorities from the tyranny of majorities as in a direct democracy. And the left in general also likes having the opportunity to turf leaders, when desirable. The left typically values human liberty within a peacefully run polity.
There you go again - showing off your inability to distinguish liberal democrats from communists. You really should look a little more closely at people (or even take a slight glimpse) before you start falsely describing them.

The Durham report has shown, what many people knew, which was the Political left; Swamp, has set up an injustice system, where the truth is called a lie and the lie is called the truth, and the criminals are not punished. This extends to their propaganda machine in the fake news media. That is not how Democracy works. Democracy requires public servants and not criminal overlords and media con artists. Democracy can only work when you have moral people; play by one set of rules.
The Government is broken when crooks are able to set up a system, where they can perform injustice, at will, and are not held accountable. Durham pointed out this pattern of behavior, since 2014, but did not pass individual judgment. He handed it off to the injustice department, who he knew would ignore the crimes; no names to prevent revenge, but the pattern of behavior would be reported to the people. A dictator would have the power to purge the crooks and bring them to trial, in spite of their resistance and control of injustice.
If we had a honest system in place; checks and balances, where people are held accountable, then a dictator would make things worse. But when you have a self serving corrupt system, too strong to overcome playing by the rules, you might need someone who can by-pass the self serving red tape, and set the government right. We may need a benevolent dictator until the ship is made right. He would reside over a system restore, back to a better time when government was of the people, by the people and for the people.
Trump, after being a victim for so long, has a big enough chip on his shoulder to shake the house until the roaches leave or are fumigated. He is the only one to endure their all out assault, which continues even today. Once the system restore is done, then back to normal business.
Anyone who gets into the White House, and wants to right the system, will have to content with sabotage and obstruction by the crooks. They do not wish to lose power. Trump lived with that and has experience as to how to beat the crooks at their own game.
A new President has to make lots of appointments and one mistake Trump made the first time, was to allow crooks in sheep clothing, to fill important positions. He was new and the players were not yet differentiated. DeSantis would be a good President, but he is not prepared for the crooks weaseling into his administration for spying and sabotage. He would be better after the ship is made right. DeSantis may be a good running mate, since He and Trump, could fight two fronts at once.
