The prime Minister is a Pentecostal, how secular is that??
Its pretty secular. Communism wouldn't have allowed a pentecostal prime minister in office. The prime Minister is a Pentecostal, how secular is that??
Very when you consider pentecostals are a minority religion in AustraliaThe prime Minister is a Pentecostal, how secular is that??
Certainly parts of Europe although France made the list of top ten for religious persectution in 2018Yes. Europe too.
His personal beliefs are irrelevant as long as he's not using the law to impose them upon others. The prime Minister is a Pentecostal, how secular is that??

Those Australian “cultural factors” are secular for the most part. The PM does not have powers like Communist societies have. He can't go against
the grain of cultural factors. Witness Howard's belief that Aboriginal policy was
utterly destructive to Aborigines - he seized the moment during controversy over
Aboriginal child abuse to attempt to change the Australian mindset (and failed in
the process - but that's another story.)
So an atheist or religious PM changes nothing.
Australia is secular, not atheist. The prime Minister is a Pentecostal, how secular is that??

Your speculations are unfounded, if 80% of liberals oppose polygamy today why assume it would change significantly in the future?Exactly, as my profile shows below, there are fundamental
changes in the moral landscape. This is of concern to
conservative political parties. At some stage polygamy is
going to be the hot-button issue. Conservatives (and 80% of
liberals today) oppose this. But when it comes, polygamy
will be a political platform of Aust Liberal Party, USA
Republicans, British Tories etc.. This is because Dems;
Greens and Labor parties will support it, so too will society
in general.

Darn Austrians, first they give us Hitler, now this? They should stick to their choirs of lonely goat herds.Countries like Australia prove secularism does not equal communism and other violent antitheisms.

Have you got an argument against polygamy among fully informed and consenting partners other than appeal to tradition?Exactly, as my profile shows below, there are fundamental

I’m not sure what you mean by pederastry, but I think intercourse between overage with underage people will keep its social stigma. It's a Good Question.
I ask some middle age and elderly advocates of gay marriage "When did you change your mind?"
That embarrassing - because it's obvious that even gays saw gay marriage as extreme, and
denied they would support it - back in the 1970's and 1980's.
The Gallop Poll shows how FAST polygamy is moving - 7 to 16% in just 15 years. That's more
than 100% increase. Right about now I suppose close to one quarter of liberal Americans
support polygamy. The rest deny they ever will, but when it arrives it will be like a blinding light
of revelation - and there's one more thing to attack the church and conservatives over.
How will polygamy happen? Like pederasty (also rising) it will come through various channels.
The most obvious one is to accuse anyone who opposes it as being "racist" because some
cultures practice polygamy. It could come through a rights issue, like abortion did. It could
come through as a fight against white Anglo-saxon culture. Don't know.
I’m not arguing against it, but I do question how it would work. Say if you had the consent of one partner for an additional spouse but not the other, do they have to divorce for the one who wishes an addition to get one or what?Have you got an argument against polygamy among fully informed and consenting partners other than appeal to tradition?
