It is not reliable period. Parts of it are clearly mythical. It is not even reliable to you. You keep running away from just one of many questions that tell us that you do not believe all of it either.
By the way, how is proving you wrong helping you? Now if you were able to learn from your errors that would be the case. Sadly you have not owned up to your errors yet.
To you and others say the bible is unreliable, but to those who do believe what is written within the pages of the bible it is reliable.
But then the bible is not the question.
The Thread is about ( Creation vs Evolution
And not ( Bible vs Evolution)
I only bring in the Bible to hlep me give support on Creation.
As do people who bring in Scientist to support them on Evolution.
No. We critically assess and examine the evidence brought in through science and determine for ourselves that the evidence warrants the conclusion that evolution happened. Our claims are based on our own assessment of the evidence and conclusions of science, and not mere apriori faith in the authority of any scientist or their work. You however start from a prior faith in the Bible and do not critically assess its claims to decide if they are true or false. Then you proceed to construct a made up reality that confirms to your prior faith in the Bible and decide that it has to be true. In effect you are constructing a fantasy you want to believe in, and not assess what is in fact, real.To you and others say the bible is unreliable, but to those who do believe what is written within the pages of the bible it is reliable.

Yes, exactly. Just because a person says a thing is a certain way, doesn't mean it is. So just because you say the Bible is the reliable word of God, doesn't make it so, just because you believe it.
I used the sky colour to illustrate my point about confirmation bias. Perhaps you could address that point.

Of course, but that does not mean the sky is actually green, especially when it is demonstrably not green.Look just because a person said the sky is green, doesn't make it so with other people, That person may believe the sky is green to them.
If it's only reliable to people who already have a stake in believing it, but not to anybody else, then it isn't reliable, in general. The same scenario with the bible.
You may not believe the bible is reliable, that doesn't mean other people has to see it your way. Other people may see the bible as reliable.

Of course he is demonstrably not Napoleon, That would be me. Here, I just took a selfie:Of course, but that does not mean the sky is actually green, especially when it is demonstrably not green.
My schizophrenic friend thinks he is Napolean Bonaparte. He can believe that all he wants, but it doesn't make it true simply because he believes it. He is demonstrably not Napolean Bonaparte.
If it's only reliable to people who already have a stake in believing it, but not to anybody else, then it isn't reliable.
All you've managed to do is demonstrate your confirmation bias, which as I pointed out, is an error in reasoning. In other words, your position is not based in sound reasoning.
Ohh, sexy Napoleon! That phone is a bit of a dinosaur, here is another:

You are merely copying others now and trying to use a phrase that you do not understand. That is not very "Christian" of you.So who gave you the right to determine what is sound reasoning for other people.
So all you haved managed to do is demonstrated your confirmation bias. In trying to tell other people what they should think according to you.
You really need to wake up and face the real world, people will think what they want to think regardless of how you think people should think. That's not reality.
hey Faith,
The thread, as you have said, is about creation vs evolution.
And you have quoted quite a few quotes from the bible.
Wheather or not your `gods` wrote them, these quotes are not any evidence that `god` exsists.
These quotes from Moses and others do not prove that Adam and Eve came from the dust of the Earth do they ? From where did that `dust` come ? What rotted away to generate it, if it was `dust`. Maybe the `dust` came from the sand that was created by `god`, by a wave of his hand.
From what was the `sand` made, or did He make it from `nothingness` or the water that was everywhere. From what entity were the first two humans made, where'd he get the `soil` ?
I'm sure you have some answers, when the stars are still shining in dim light of creation.
NuffStuff
Your "fulfilled" prophecies are not very convincing when you have to jump through all sorts of hoops to fulfill them while in the meantime ignoring the terribly failed prophecies of the Bible. Even by merely using prophecies that Bible is demonstrated to be unreliable.Hey Mud
The Thread is not about whether God exist or not, The Thread is about
( Creation vs Evolution )
I didn't produce quotes from the bible to prove whether God exists or not, but to show how people to day are fulfilling Prophecy of the bible.
There are people who are criticizing the bible, not knowing the very bible they are criticizing have given Prophecy about them a little over 2000 years ago. How people in these last days of earth's history are fulfilling Prophecy of the bible, For every time people criticize the bible, That they have no idea or clue about themselves fulfilling Prophecy in to days world. That was given a little over 2000 years ago.
When I see this and others that I know see this, it just confirm's our belief more and more of the Bible.
Oh yeah, people could say, hey anyone could give Prophecy and not know if it really happens or not, but the problem with that is, we are seeing what those said a little over 2000 years ago are actually coming true just the way they describe things would be to day.
How people would be going to and from in earth and how knowledge would increase. What other time in the history of the earth has knowledge increase as it has in these times that we're living in and yet still increasing in knowledge.
But what has man done with this knowledge accept to try destroy himself ?
