Creationist Park For Sale!!

A federal judge has cleared the way for the government's seizure of a creationism theme park in Pensacola owned by a couple convicted of tax fraud.
A ruling by U.S. District Judge Casey Rodgers states that the nine properties that make up Dinosaur Adventure Land as well as two bank accounts associated with the park will be used to satisfy $430,400 owed to the federal government.

Kent Hovind, who founded the park and a ministry, Creation Science Evangelism, is serving 10 years in federal prison for failing to pay the Internal Revenue Service more than $470,000 in employee taxes.

I learned that evolution isn't true because that's not what the literal interpretation of the Bible teaches in Genesis.

I honestly think that God shakes his head in disbelief when people say things like that.

Hovind is an idiot that doesn't understand science at all
"Dr. Hovind, I'm sure
Heh...

Yeah, as much of a "Dr." as one can be by getting a Bachelors in Religious Education at a non-accredited Baptist college, then a Masters and Doctorate in Christian Education through correspondence courses at what used to be Patriot Univ., which is another non-accredited college. Seems anyone could get a PhD the Hovind way.

"Doctor" of fraud and deceit maybe.

Hovind is a conspiracy tinfoil-hat-wearing moron; he's an ignorant fraud and liar who has zero science credentials and questionable degrees in fields that have nothing to do with science. Apparently he doesn't know much about paying taxes either....

This is shocking news to me. If Kent would have asked me I would have told him to "give to Caeser what is Caesar's."

Try going to your local science museum, find the section on fossils, do just a tiny bit of research on how species change over time, maybe you'll be able to slowly draw your self out of the middle ages, hey you might even come away with just a little bit of EDUCATION.

I was being facetious with my comments. It's always interesting to see how fast people can turn on you over something like this...

But there are posters on here right now who would pretend to say something like that in a sincere sort of manner. You mightn't like how others jumped to conclusions about what you said, but can you blame them for doing so?
