Perfect:
  1. I invade and occupy your kitchen, at least temporarily leaving you the rest of your home.
  2. Now, let's compromise on a solution.
You can message me your address when convenient.

I will try to be as brief as possible.

1) In Donbas most people speak Russian, not Ukrainian
2) A Nationalist Government was elected in 2014 and forced them to learn Ukrainian.
3) The independentists and the separatist movement in Donbas took over
4) Kiev Government massacred the independentist and the separatist movements in Donbas.
5) The war between Kiev and such separatists lasted 8 years
6) Russia decided to invade Donbas to help separatists and give them the possibility to become independent from Kiev

The Democratic Party has been spreading lies and falsehoods for all these years.
That the invasion had not been provoked.

That's what it is. World peace. It's time for the wars, and rumours of wars, on all fronts to end.

Within days of Trump winning:

Hezbollah seeks peace talks
Russian seeks peace talks
Qatar expels Hamas leaders
China calls for “peaceful coexistence”

The leader of the free world is back and Power = Peace!

The Houthis just announced that they're done fighting Israel, stopping their operations.

It has barely been hours and world peace is returning thanks to Donald Trump.

#BREAKING: Hezbollah New Chief resigns minutes after Donald Trump wins US President Election

Anyone thinks Harris would have gotten the same results thus far had she became president elect? ?

What a lovely piece of sanitized propaganda.

We should create a play, perhaps calling it Euromaidan versus Putin's Maiden, and cast you as antihero.

And should he learn from that experience and seek to further expand his territory, what is your next proffered best compromise?
Good question. I would say a peace treaty where all countries unambiguously pledge resistance for further expansion beyond Russia's newly accepted boarders. And Russia's unambiguous full acceptance of Ukraine as a completely independent nation able to choose its own destiny without Russian interference including inclusion in the EU and NATO or whatever Ukraine freely chooses. The NATO part though might never be accepted by Putin. But Putin can't live forever either.

The only other option is continuing the costly (resources and lives) stalemate with the hope of regime change in Russia changing things.

Also, I am thinking the costliness of this venture for Russia will make it a long long time before they dream of getting adventurous.

By that logic, should the English speaking world be ruled by the UK ? South America by Spain and Portugal?

A Nationalist Government was elected in 2014 and forced them to learn Ukrainian.
Not a good move. But it does not justify a single dead child. I wonder how many have died?

The independentists and the separatist movement in Donbas took over
A revolution against the legitimate government.

Russia decided to invade Donbas to help separatists and give them the possibility to become independent from Kiev
Why, what is so special about that particular "liberation struggle"?

The Democratic Party has been spreading lies and falsehoods for all these years.
Who cares? This is the Euro politics section.

Bravissimo.
You got the point.
Russia is disposed to leave Ukraine master of its own destiny, but the price for freedom is just those 4 regions.

I think it's a good price.

Honestly...I don't want divisions any more. Politics is really filled with propaganda...and what America needs now is love...

...and unity.
What America really needs is a realignment in its national direction and tactile results that benefits its own citizens.

Actions, not words.

Americans have also listened to Putin's side of the story thanks to Carlson who interviewed him.
I agree everybody needs their voices to be heard even those that we may consider as enemies, ought to be invited to the diplomacy table to see if matters can be rectified or not.

Appeasement surely worked for Neville Chamberlain, and ...

... oh, wait, let me rethink this.

President-elect Donald Trump's team has shut down a former adviser's claim that the Trump administration's priority for Ukraine would be on establishing peace and not restoring territory lost to Russia, including Crimea.
Bryan Lanza, a Republican strategist who worked on Trump's presidential campaign and is not involved with the transition, said in an interview that the incoming Trump administration would be asking Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for a "realistic vision for peace."
"If President Zelensky comes to the table and says, well we can only have peace if we have Crimea, he shows to us that he's not serious. Crimea is gone," Lanza said on the BBC World Service's Weekend program.
The priority for the U.S. would be "peace and to stop the killing," Lanza said.
A spokesperson for Trump's transition team denied that Lanza spoke for Trump. He "does not work for President Trump and does not speak for him," the spokesperson told the BBC.

The propaganda machine, especially CNN (Certainly Not News) is light years away from what Carlson does.

Carlson is honest. Honest journalism.
He came to Europe to interview Orban and Putin and to understand what really goes on.

You can't even imagine how extraordinary it was. How life-changing. An American journalist coming to Europe to tell the reality as it really is, without propaganda or personal bias.

During his first mandate Trump restlessly worked for world peace.
I know because my country also favored the talks between Moscow and Washington DC. And Trump did a lot.
So many things, also putting the EU technocrats in their place, because they wanted to prevent UK from exiting the EU.

During those 4 years there was no war, and there was, after the disastrous years of Obama and Hillary, a process of re-stabilization of the Mediterranean area.

In 2025 Trump will probably leave the matter to us Europeans and since the Populists are on the rise here in Europe, the warmongers will be ridiculed and ostracized, because they are losing all elections, thanks to their disgusting thirst for war.

And politicians here are not nice. Many of us want the EU institutions to be freed from the elitist warmongers who hide in some building of power like sewer rats...

I do hope that no wars erupt under Trump's watch aside from eliminating things like Isis which he did in his first Administration.

What I'm sure you're aware as much as I am, that sometimes in the world there are factors that are beyond the control of President Trump and wars can and do break out between nations.

Already it's been confirmed that North Korea has now involved themselves in the Ukrainian conflict, but of course we all know they are just cannon fodder.
