OMG What if some one is killed and dumped next to a cactus? Something to talk about, I am sure.

I was following on from posters comments that the OP couldn't possibly be "bragging" because of all the hardcore, gruesome violence he has to deal with on a daily basis. Lol - please...

Regardless of the intention of the poster, but why you need to be rude and showing as
if you are jealous.

Lol - trust me; I'm far from jealous: CSI's actually assist me in my profession - they play a small yet significant role in a small portion of the matters we undertake.

I'd far prefer to sit in a comfortable office, surrounded by beautiful women and process the work that CSI's have already done for us.

If not jealousy then it's rudeness.

In what way could I have expressed what I wanted to in this thread which would have mitigated this rudeness I apparently exercised?

I believe that I was as polite and courteous as I possibly could be in addressing the OP.

Introducing oneself including what he works is a friendly approach, no need to think of it otherwise.

Fine then. Maybe I'm a little jaded. The profession in which I work involves a lot of assessment of people's character, narcissism, pissing contests and implications that others have ulterior, obnoxiously self serving motives for explaining what they're doing and why they're doing it. So this thread naturally rubbed me the wrong way.

I think that any young person who is thinking about getting a police job would like to hear what @Neo Deist has to say about crime scene work.

So is your job to file their work, & brink coffee to the women?

I had to say it!
You can slap me if you want.

So, you're a doctor and a lawyer. :D

Lol no - and I'm trying to get my username changed so people stop making that assumption.

Do you know how to do that? I'm not getting anywhere asking the staff.

"The Good Doctor" is an expression used in a number of contexts. I initially chose it because of my passion (at the time) for "consciousness expansion" - interpret that however you want.

I don't disagree with that but did any budding boys in blue request it?

Should I start a new thread and post a ten point description about my occupation and then punctuate it with: "Oh heavens! And that isn't even the half of it!"

No one ever requests my posts.
You don't see that inhibiting me!
Why should others be expected to show decorum, restraint, & good judgement.

But you love it ?.

I love aspects of my job, such as the science behind forensics. I enjoy being in the lab and getting results off evidence that lead to suspects and/or solid convictions in court.

There are many parts of the job that absolutely suck...carrying around images of dead people in your mind 24/7 can't be good.

Then there is the fun stuff...like dealing with a**hole attorneys in court that get knocked off their high horse when they cross examine me. ;)

For the record, the last sentence was me being arrogant (yet truthful). I'll let you know when I am being egotistical...not ashamed and fear nothing.
