I was on YA and saw someone posted a link to this BS site. I skimmed through it and the material provided there is extremely filled with hatred against my religion. It's disgusting.

You realize you're on the internet right. The overwhelming majority of it would not be considered credible in any right.

I think a lot of it (op link) is basically an opinion piece. Entertaing read as I'm sure a number of folks would agree, but not too substantial by way of establishment. A bit like something one would hear on George Noory.

It is not academia, and amounts to word salad and biased rhetoric.


Academia and science refutes poor translations and assumptions quite well without worthless websites making the same mistakes they claim Christians do.

Yeah, I didn't care for the tone at all and I'm an atheist. No problem if you wish to present information, but the ad hominem stuff is distasteful to me. I can point you to christian websites that spew hatred toward atheists in a like manner. But you should just ignore that kind of garbage. You have better things to do with your life. I am always quite saddened by how poorly equipped people are at sorting through credible sources on the internet. But, to be fair, not everyone was writing papers in schools when computers were about.

You are so right......checking sources before quote-mining something on the internet is critical. Also not always easy to do correctly. I do try my best.....and still sometimes fail. I can follow something through a number of pages and think I am at the source, and then find later I stopped a page or two too soon.

I would never assume that you were being rude. But I assure you that if I were biased, any bias that I have would certainly be justified and perfectly rational.

It only takes a casual glance at the site that you provided to recognize it is utter crap, especially considering that you can find a rich selection of intellectually stimulating and insightful material online. There's no excuse for you wasting your time and ours with this garbage.
