Deep, Meaningful Three O'Clock in the Morning Question...

Well...maybe it's like the story I heard about Edison and the light bulb.

It goes something like this.

It took over 2,000 tries for him to invent the light bulb. When he was asked how it felt to fail over 2,000 times, he said that he didn't fail once. He invented the light bulb. It was a more-than-2,000-step process.

Maybe God's just working on getting to us to the point of having something worth watching on TV.

Don't stand in God's way! There's still a ways to go.

Hmm...I like that story.
Next time I pick on the Kardashians, I'll keep in mind there's a small chance they're a pebble on the road to perfection, rather than a boil on the butt of pop culture.

A clear statement of what? That whoever surveys all of creation from the highest heaven either fashioned all of creation or he did not, but at least he knows... or maybe not. I have a hard time discerning any useful statement there at all.

If you're just looking for an honest admission of unknowability, try 1 Corinthians 13:12.

"For now we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim (blurred) reflection [of reality as in a riddle or enigma], but then [when perfection comes] we shall see in reality and face to face! Now I know in part (imperfectly), but then I shall know and understand fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been fully and clearly known and understood [by God]." (Amplified Bible)

Nice.

He could have dementia. He might have forgotten his own identity.
There's some sort of Netflix original series in that.

I picture someone like...hmmm...Julie Andrews maybe? She's toddling along Route 66 seeking God, not realising that she herself IS God.

Cue some hilarious scenes where she prays and is distracted by a constant buzzing in her ear, which is actually her own voice talking to herself.

In the final episode/cliff hanger, she finds herself torn between atheism and Raelism when she becomes convinced the nurse in her care facility is actually a body-snatching alien.
have you seen a movie called Dogma?

Alanis Morissette plays God

(hope that doesn't spoil it for you)

God belongs to a whole community of beings so powerful
that we lesser critters see them as gods. But they see
no beings superior to themselves, thus they're atheists.
And some of them have the hobby of creating universes
to watch & care for. Of course, some of them are rather
lazy & inattentive stewards of their spawn.

Maybe. God doesn't have a god to pray to. Apparently, no god created God. Was God actually "God" in the beginning before He actually created anything? Would He be "God" before He created any beings to worship Him?

Have you see the movie 'O God', starring George burns as God.
In the film, God is called to be witness in a trial. When he takes the oath, He says:
"I swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help Me Me'

(this won't spoil the film if you haven't seen it.):)

As per Hinduism, God is pure consciousness. ( Prajnanam Brahman)

However, if God identifies Himself with a mental position such as atheism or theism, he would no longer be based in pure consciousness, but on the changeful mind created of thoughts and emotions, all which constitute impure consciousness due to its vacillating nature.

In such a scenario, God would not be in a position to note that He is God , but would identify Himself with something else.

Your lack of humor in this matter noted.

I don't want to speak for @shunyadragon, but based on things I've seen him post- I'd say he's a philosopher. Philosophers don't find funny what other people do. We sometimes find funny what other people don't.

(I just remembered you're a philosopher. How COULD YOU ask a question that merits a deep answer in the joke section? I'm just shocked  )
