In truth, I didn't find their love story to be anything riveting and romantic but I'm sure it's been special to them. They seem like a sweet couple - reminds me of how my grandparents used to go back and forth with each other with petty disagreements. They can really be precious in old age.

It's amazing to find someone that you can share your life with. To be with someone for over 60 years is amazing. That has profound meaning.

Not to Tasha, apparently.

I really feel sorry for those who want to debate so badly then they run crying calling you names once you debate with them.

I wanted to elaborate because i thought i would have a good topic to debate about but you ruined it.

i think the issue people are taking with your input in the discussion is that it's very vague. saying "it's meaningless" opens up quite a few doors for interpretation and being specific helps a lot in cooling down potential hurt feelings. so perhaps if you would simply answer some of the questions people have posed to you about what you meant, instead of using up your forum time justifying your retreat, then people would not have to speculate.

I have a question for those posters (mostly Muslim) who have previously claimed that gay relationships are nothing but lust. What's going on here, 60 years of lust?
