Define "Kindness" (or how in the H did I deserve the RF Kindness Award?)

Oh, you know I do. I just don't lose 50 IQ points the minute somebody mentions the word "boobies", and start looking around saying, "Where? Where?"
What, what are you trying to say

How do you define kindness? Is it placating, soft, ethereal? Or is it a kick in the pants, blunt, honest? Do you define kindness by the message or the intent? Or both?

And do you see kindness when I pull out my whip? When I put it down? Or just because I give a damn?

I almost think that kindness can be a little bit of both sides you mentioned. For example, as a child I HATED when my parents yelled at me and made me clean my room. But now I think it was very kind of them to teach me those things because if they didn't I would be a SLOB. lol Being blunt and honest can make people understand and realize things in a different perspective. I think that's what people need. Another example of kindness is being a softy. Being lovable and accepting. Those are very important traits too because those traits make others happy! :D

And I imagine your kick light and dainty from a soft kind little girl :D

Don't underestimate my kicks, Mike. I'm a dancer. ;)

There really is a desire to help others find happiness. I think it's kind to open my arms and shower someone with hugs and kisses. I think it's also kind to smack somebody across the face (metaphorically speaking....most of the time) when they wallow in their own sort of "pity party." The methods of kindness ought to vary depending on the circumstances, it seems. No?

I completely agree with you. Sometimes people need a good spanking! :slap: but... sometimes they need love too. :D
