Democrats Lose Again.

Bitter much?
There does seem to be a bit of a trend of "sore winners" with the Republicans. It's not just "Yay, we won! Go team!"

It's "Yay we won, let's feast on liberal tears!"

Or

"Yay, we won, and liberals are whiney losers."

Or

"Yay, we won, but we would have won by more if it weren't for 3 million illegal votes!"

Sure. But that seems like a platitude designed to disparage a career politician; your implication is that a career politician can't sympathize with the "regular folk". I don't see why that's necessarily true.

Like I said, I prefer experience. Maybe Democrats need their polished politicians to appear more regular joe-like. But that just seems like theater to me. Unfortunately, appearance is more important to people than experience and policy.

I'm not saying that you are guilty of that-- I agree with you that we need more champions for the working class and I think that's your main point. I just disagree that the a "salt of the earth" approach is necessary.

I prefer experience too, although life experience is just as important, especially if one has faced adversity in life.

Here's a guy who I thought made an excellent candidate: Richard Carmona - Wikipedia

He was in the Army Special Forces, he got a medical degree, and he was a sheriff's deputy for a time before becoming Surgeon General. He was unsuccessful in his bid for Senate, but I voted for him just the same. He's a smart guy, educated - but also not afraid to get his hands dirty. It's not just appearances either. This guy is a genuine hero, both as a soldier and a law enforcement officer.

Hate to burst your bubble, but if you think the Democrats are on a roll for 2018 because of these two elections you have forgotten how much money they had to pour into them.

I agree I think the Democrats need to help the economy. Working men and even help people to not have to work. Better healthcare might actually work well with this.

As a strong believer in Raelian Geniocracy, a social commandment given by the Elohim to Rael, I suggest only having genius candidates and trying to make it so that those 10% above average IQ decide the election. This sometimes happens to some extent or another anyway. This is known as Geniocracy and I think the Greeks did it if I'm not mistaken, plus in early America there were systems aimed at giving the deserving more of a vote, though sometimes misguided.

What? Me worry?
Are you saying that you believe that Republicans have never murdered due to their political beliefs?

Are you really claiming that because of the Alexandria shooting, Republicans are now allowed to be jerks about even unrelated things, like winning an election in South Carolina?

I fail to see how my posts are partisan garbage in comparison to what you're peddling.

Name one Republican that went looking for Democrats to specifically blow them away.

So I guess you're not going to grow up, or apologize for trying to politicize attempted murder.

Your opinion on politics therefore is moot. Your are an immoral person.

Brother, this was "politicized" the moment it happened. If I am immoral then you have to be in denial.

This is irrelevant. The victims of conservative-belief-driven assaults or murders are people too. The Portland and Charleston attacks come to mind. Not to mention the various abortion clinic attacks.

And the Alexandria attack still doesn't give you or Republicans free-rein to be jerks over election wins. I'm really not sure how you're justifying that.

Or it is insecurity and they need self reassurance.

No, I say it is that some people just don't recognize political satirical humor and basically do not have a sense of humor.

Well you better be careful with that vitr... err... "satirical humor", as according to you it is a loaded gun and you are going to get people murdered.

And how do you account for the well known bias in the IQ test?

Honestly, anyone who thinks the IQ test is a reliable measure of good judgment or even intelligence is just being stupid.

No problem, go for it.:)

Oh now you have done it, since there is clearly a cause effect relationship between your political vitriol and murderous rage in faceless strangers on the Internet (even though there is no supporting evidence to prove that) I am gonna have to go kill some people. Well lucky there is a preschool nearby (it has to be kids since I don't believe in God).
