Allah said in no less than 5 places in the Quran
That people edited that word of God.
And this verse you quoted,talking about those who doubt that God sent a man as a messenger,though the prophets of God to mankind are allways of them men.like Mosus and jesus,then why do you doubt that God has sent a man?
