Did I Just Hear Hillary Say She Was Going To Raise Taxes On The Middle Class

They could just release the transcript and tell folks to "**** off". Jus' sayin'...
Maybe Hillary is smart enough to ignore the issue. Five minutes from now Trump will say "Hispanic women are all hookers anyway!" or something and the media will shift their attention back to him.

Maybe she needs some high profile gaffs to steal the spotlight back.

Well let me put it this way I wasn't sure what she said but then I noticed the CC (closed caption) on the video and ran it just to make sure I heard her say "are" not "aren't"
If you disagree fine. I heard and saw "are"

Oh by the way CC is voice recognition software.
So you didn't hear her say it, you read a transcript of what she did say made by voice recognition software and then started a thread based on what you read entitled did I HEAR....?

Well the video says it all. Now some of you diehard Hillary fanatics will say she just misspoke. However, sometimes attributed to a mistake is actually a sub-concise truth that slips out.

I saw that in the news, but I didn't post it because it smells fishy.
I heard it, but I'm skeptical....might not be legitimate (edited possibly) or just a slip of the tongue.
(Don't let her slip you the tongue.)
She might intend to do that, but to trumpet it as a campaign tactic isn't her style.
So I looked for confirmation, & couldn't find it in any major sources.

Well, you are notorious for posting fake stories.
seems Snoops disagrees with you.

Given the context of her statement and the audience's positive reaction to it, it appears that Clinton actually said "we aren't going to raise taxes on the middle class," but either she didn't fully enunciate the ending of the word "aren't" or the word didn't come through clearly on the audio recording (or both). Worst case, she simply misspoke and said "are" when she meant "aren't," because she has not announced any changes to her tax platform or said on any other occasion that she plans to raise taxes on the middle class and not the wealthy.

She said aren't, but I wouldn't know it without reducing the video speed to 50% (you can do it with the little settings gear). Anyway, she's full of beans Democrats have historically always raised taxes on the middle class. :D

Only because they tend to follow Republicans who cut taxes beyond all reason. Since she is following Obama, who is leaving her with a fairly sound tax levels for our spending, I doubt she will need to raise taxes.

I can hear it either way, would be clearer face to face and being in-tune with the person's enunciations. Good example of why "are not", with emphasis on the not, is better when communicating.

No doubt, but it's easy enough to simply compare it to other speeches. She has never even implied that she would raise taxes on the middle class.

Not really that important to me. At least not as important as the murder count, deleted emails, shady uranium deals, the constant lying, and now her apparently psychotic behavior probably caused by a brain injury. :D

But, sure, vote for that woman... because voting for that is better than Trump... LOL... Look, I don't like everything Trump does, but man it just ain't the same -- you gotta ignore too much with her.

As Secretary of State I guarantee she made many calls on the margin. It's the job. Beyond that, the rest of your claims are nonsensical.

The biggest mistake Hillary made was saying in an interview in the 90's that someday she would like to be president. Ever since that time she has had a target on her back. But after hundreds of millions spent investigating, no evidence of anything was found. Either she is the most brilliant criminal mastermind of our era, or all these investigations were designed to undermine her chances. As a reasonable person, I have to go with the latter.
