Just to enlighten you all a bit.
God made the world and the people in it. Back then he wanted someone to preach in his name and tell god's story and try to interprete his message to all people. And in what better way then to come to earth himself but as another normal human being.
So he decided to take a part of his soul and chose The Virgin Maria to have him come to earth. So the son of god, Jesus Christ was born. And that's the way he got his own measage across. He is god himself but he came as a part of him in a human body that is refered as son of god. Because all of us humans are all his children. Hope you understand it a little better now.
