And here Dick van Dyke, while outwardly pretending to be a penguin, is really engaging in a form of white supremacism by culturally appropriating the zoot suit decontextualised in the form of a gross parody. Far from being an innocent scene in a beloved children's film, it is in fact disgraceful race baiting whereby he dehumanises zoot suit wearing minorities by comparing them to animals.
