nah i'll just stay on here and talk to awesome discordians such as yourself ;)

Well, thank you WJ. If I wasn't so shallow, and easily pleased (And drunk) I might consider your post a shameless piece of arsekissing. May the dubious blessings of Eris rain down upon you.

Same here. I reckon if it's good enough for Boris Yeltsin, it's good enough to mix with "Old Jamaica" Ginger Beer, and swill back in a Pint glass all day long.

In fact, I often glug a large Moscow Mule down, as part of my traditional three course "All Day Discordian Breakfast".

sounds great. i usually just drink it all day with whatever is available while at work, since they encourage it and i have to put up with annoying magicians all day.

What, like David Blaine? I'd need a damn sight more than vodka to put up with that kind of bollocks. I've got a magic trick or two I'd like to try out on him.
Or do you mean, like "W00t w00t, I'm Merlin Twinkle, Level 19 Arch Mage, and Seer of the Dingly Dell" type Magician. Because they can kiss my crooked crystal Runestaff too.
But you must be doing something right (Or very badwrong) if you have a job where they encourage the drinking of Vodka all day.

the kind of magicians i mean are more like the ex-cop-now-part-time-magician-aren't-i-so-funny? and his apprentices kind of magicians. they work across the hall. Muh job really is super awesome. i work in an antique store, so basically i get paid to sit there and look pretty all day while grabbing whatever kind of alcoholic beverage i want from the back room. my boss looovvvessss whiskey.

I have an eye for Antiquities myself. In the sense that I can pick out the 12 worthy pieces buried among the mounds of other shiny, distracting repro tat. The town I was born in, has a 1500 year old Church. It was lost for 800 years. How can you lose an actual Church? Beats me.

The other week I acquired a set of about 20 1896 Maps of the Ancient World by Edward Weller. So next time I'm lost on the borders of Bronze age Illyria, I'll be able to find Apollonia, and get right out of Dodge. Dodge right out of Greece. Shoot through, like a greased Aechean, maybe settle in Vindalia again. I know it's unlikely, but old Maps are way too cool not to put a bit of imagination into.

We lost the whole of Cornwall for over a century because of ''creative Mapping' once.. It was believed to have "fallen off the bottom", and sunk into the Sea. But what really happened was the King's maker of Maps, got as far as Bodmin, then thought to himself

"Buggyre thys for a Larke, I shalle not steppe 'pon yonder hungrye bog, lest I get swallowed downe to Annwyn". Turned back East, and drew in a fake *** coastline in that roughly followed the River Tamar. It's not like anyone was actually going to want to go any further SW than that. And they didn't.

Not for about a century anyway. It was rediscovered in the early 1300's, and quietly added back onto the official list of British dry bits. This was well before the Empire, all we had were a few dry bits, lots of soggy bits, and a giant tidal puddle called "The East Angles". No wonder all we ever wanted to do, was get the hell off of here, and steal other people's countries. In case they had some cool stuff for us to rip off.

Would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for those pesky World Wars.

Anyone want to buy a "Cornwall"? I'll chuck in the Sciliy Islands, and the IoW too for the price. (But you have to take David Icke along with the IoW. No negotiation there)
Sealed bids only please, by PM. No haggling. One bid per username. So get proxying people. And in a few short *******s, you could be the proud keeper of a few dry bits. Surrounded by some wet soggy bits. Attached firmly to the arse end of England, Britain.

OK Chum, but bear in mind that a friend is only an enemy you haven't ****** off yet. (BTW, were you part of the TOTSE influx at PD?)

Going solely on this thread, according to the views and responses, it would appear that Discordianism is the most represented Neo-Pagan path here. So, erm . . . . . . . well done everyone.

I'm starting this thread as Discordians seem to be somewhat under represented here. Maybe I just haven't been looking in the right places, or maybe people here don't consider Discordianism as a valid religion, but it would be interesting (to me, at least) to know how many Discordians there are posting here. Of course, you may be masquerading as being of another Faith, and I can totally get with that, (especially if you are on a GASM) So please don't blow your cover on my account. If you are a Chaote, or maybe follow another Trickster Archetype, (Or anyone else for that matter) what are your thoughts on Discordianism? :hotdog::hotdog::hotdog:

I consider myself to be a Discordian of sorts, or at least I don't tend to disagree with the Principia Discordia. I still consider it one of my modern day holy books and consult it from time to time. :D

Im a thelematic chaote...if that makes sense, all my magick is sorcery, away from ritual (boring), and open handed and stem creating out of chaos....
But again how the hell can you be a christian atheist...
