Yessss. Let's talk about those email hacks, shall we? How curiously timed that release was. Who Julian Assange has ties to and how he has fled extradition for rape charges. How it took an entire day for Donald Trump to claim that he was joking that he wanted the DNC hacked.

How Donald Trump's having ties to the Russian government is not out of the question, and releasing those tax returns would go a LONG ways towards alleviating those concerns.

Julian Assange has revealed his true colors. He is a known opponent of Hillary Clinton who probably wants Trump to win. He has ties with Russia. He has fought extradition to answer for the rape allegations against him. If's he's innocent, he should have flown back to Sweden to clear his name as soon as the allegations were announced.

When people disagree with me, which does happen, I tend to respond better to it if it's not laced with this kind of condescending tone, particularly when interlaced with an ignorance of the facts. Just saying.

Now, the NY Times article you posted carries some fascinating tidbits. For example, "Mr. Trump also appeared to leave the door open to accepting Russia’s annexation of Crimea two years ago — which the United States and its European allies consider an illegal seizure of territory...Mr. Trump’s apparent willingness to avoid condemning Mr. Putin’s government is a remarkable departure from United States policy and Republican Party orthodoxy, and has fueled the questions about Russian meddling in the campaign."

All this does is just further support my suspicion that Trump has been cozy with the Russians, Putin in particular.

First I do not make the assumption that I have a feeling of patronizing superiority to you. It is that I'm getting tired of members that do not do their research before they post. Now I do admit that I have made post that the data did not support what I said. What are you talking about because your analogies make not one iota of sense. I'm talking about our elections and what Trump's response and encouragement has been, so there's no "double-standard" that I'm using. Influence is always good when it's on one's own side, eh.

And if I understood his lame joke in the proper context he was likely saying it because the Russians, Chinese, Germans, English and Revoltingeststanians have ALREADY done so. To pretend otherwise is plain stupid. An example of this was during the Trey Gowdy Benghazi hearings when he was first trying to get at Hill Hill's emails. The standing joke at the time was that he could probably get things more quickly by simply asking the Chinese or the Russians.
