Do all roads lead to God?

The Pharisees said a lot of things.

They also said Jesus was an agent of the devil for example.

Yes they did say that about Jesus, because they hated his religion he was starting, because they refused to listen to truth and repent. Its the exact same thing today, satan saw the tactics worked having his false religious teachers calling the true religion a cult, because the world hates truth-- truth is why they murdered Jesus, apostles, christians, they hated truth.

I do believe from what i have read in Gods written word we find that in Noahs day--it proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that all roads do not lead to God, but one road leads to God. Noah a servant of( YHWH) Jehovah-- as was Moses,David,Isaiah,Job,Lot,Daniel, etc-- every one of them served the true God--they all served YHWH(Jehovah) a single being God. So did Jesus-rev 3:12. 1 cor 15:24-28.
Without a single doubt in Gods written word,God never had more than a single religion that was his.Jesus came and started a single religion, united in love and peace worldwide.
The name Jesus taught his true followwers at John 17:6 is YHWH(Jehovah) and at John 17:1-6--Jesus said that his Father( the one who sent him-John 5:30) is the only true God. Paul taught the same at 1 cor 8:6) the trinity translations have been altered to fit catholocism council false teachings.

They (those you named) only served the true God because you believe they did from the Bible.

Kjw,
I believe what Jesus said about the broad road that many go down, but the few find the cramped road leading to life.
How many ARKS were there in Noah's day??
How many religions will be saved through the great tribulation?? One according to Paul, Eph 4:3-6.
This would require a religion not to have divisions, and to all speak in agreement, even so closel that they would even have the same line of thought, 1Cor 1:10.
it seems that there could be only one like that!!

In all likelihood? None.

How many religions will be saved through the great tribulation??

Hopefully? None.

Yes you are right, i do believe truth from Gods written word-- because it has been proved to me to be filled with truths. like the book of Daniel and revelation, written nearly 2000 years ago is passing right before the worlds eyes yet as Gods word stated--As in the days of Noah, they took no note( couldnt see the events passing by)

Acts 24:5,14

They're talking about Paul, not Jesus.

And "sect" is not synonymous with "cult". Translating it as such is just a transparent attempt to claim persecution.

Even if they had been talking about a religion initiated by Jesus (which only exists in the hypothetical) calling it a "sect" does the opposite of identifying it as a new religion, it identifies it as part of an already established religion.

Whether you realize it or not all the evidence that you've tried to present to validate your claim that Jesus came to "start a new religion" actually argues for the exact opposite.

And here i was thinking Matthew 5:17 ( "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." - NIV ) made it clear that Jesus never wanted to start a new religion...

Jesus first attempt was to get the jewish leaders to repent of their false teachings and practices, he tried over and over but they rejected him, a mere carpenters son. They were expecting the messiah to be a great king ready to do away with roman rulership. The israelites were cut off from God at the renting of the banner upon Jesus death. A new religion started. They ended up being called christians. Only one single religion, united in love and peace worldwide--not the mass of confusion( 1 cor 1:10) calling themselves christian that are disunified mess of over 40,000 different ones--the one stands out clearly.

In the nt it was called (the way)-- the israelites were cut off from God upon the death of his son and their rejection of him. That is why God allowed them to be mostly destroyed in 70ce-- the ones who listened to Jesus fled after the romans pulled out( then they returned) And if one reads revelations it says to the church-here or there-- not to a synagogue-- a new religion started. the one true christian religion.

Just going to dance around everything I post, huh. :)

If I thought there was any chance of getting a straight answer I would ask you where you're getting all this from:
the ones who listened to Jesus fled after the romans pulled out( then they returned

But I do know you aren't getting it from the Bible or from any history books.

My feeling is that if Jesus actually appeared and read some of the things you've been posting here, he'd be alternately scratching and shaking his head.

It is not so simple.
This link can offer some insight on the matter: Judaism's view of Jesus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A new religion started? Certainly.
However, whether this was Jesus' intention is another matter entirely.
Matthew 5:17 makes it clear it wasn't.

Facts of history--- the romans had Jerusalem surrounded,( 66ad) but for an unknown reason they pulled out and left, those who listened to Jesus left the city and ran to the hills, the rest remained, in 70ce the romans returned and killed 1,100,000 israelites-- it took awhile for them to break through the walls, so the israelites ran out of food and ate their own children.

There is nothing in 5:17 that says anything about a start or finish of a religion. At hebrews 10:24-25-- it says do not forsake the gathering of yourselves together( that is obviously at a religious meeting)

This is a fairy tale. The Roman siege of Jerusalem was unremitting. The Romans were driven back a few times, but they never "pulled out and left" "for an unknown reason".

those who listened to Jesus left the city and ran to the hills, the rest remained,

This is also a fairytale. No one knows what happened to the Jerusalem Christians during or after the siege.

in 70ce the romans returned and killed 1,100,000 israelites--

More make-believe. The siege on Jerusalem actually began and ended in 70 AD. There was no siege before that and no mysterious departure of the Romans from Jerusalem.

it took awhile for them to break through the walls, so the israelites ran out of food and ate their own children.

 According to Josephus, there is ONE incident of cannibalism in connection with the siege, and that's of one wealthy woman eating her own infant.

I don't know who's feeding you this tripe, but unless you can offer some sort of substantiation for any of what you're claiming (which of course you wont be able to since it's all nonsense) I'd appreciate it if you didn't pollute the forums with it.

That is exactly the point. 5:17 is about Jesus saying he is going to fulfill judaism.
