Do any of you live in a town as big as a city?

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
I live in a city's suburbs. The city ranks 6th in population in the state but about 100 in population nation wide.

The suburb I live in has about 25,000 people in it.

I was born and spent many years though in New Orleans which is ranked about 50 in population. in the US. And it has over 1,000,0000 people!

No, and I miss being able to walk in a small downtown area to sit on a bench and see people in business casual or traditional business dress. Where I am currently (and probably will be until I have a toe tag) is the hind-end of the galaxy. Until I was 14 I grew up in the Vailsburg section of Newark NJ. We had sidewalks, traffic lights, public transportation. We walked up and down South Orange Avenue as far as South Orange and West Orange. There was shopping all up and down the avenue.

I used to live in a city (just outside but wirh the cities post code and admin) with a population of 89000 until 9 years ago.
It now boasts a population of 98000.

I just realised, thats an average increase of 1000 per year compared to where i live now that a averages 1 per year.

Edit. Also just realised, this is the other way round. I lived in a city small enough to be a town.
