Do any of you live in a town as big as a city?

Yes. I live in the limits of a city that ranks in the 20s in both land area and population in the US.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
I live in a city's suburbs. The city ranks 6th in population in the state but about 100 in population nation wide.

The suburb I live in has about 25,000 people in it.

I live in a village that has 510 residents including the people living in 12 outlying hamlets. So probably not what you're looking for.

Point of interest, when we moved here we increased the population by 1%

Yes, I live in a big city. It's the 14th largest in the US by population.

Edit: It's the 14th, not 15th.

I was born and spent many years though in New Orleans which is ranked about 50 in population. in the US. And it has over 1,000,0000 people!

No, and I miss being able to walk in a small downtown area to sit on a bench and see people in business casual or traditional business dress. Where I am currently (and probably will be until I have a toe tag) is the hind-end of the galaxy. Until I was 14 I grew up in the Vailsburg section of Newark NJ. We had sidewalks, traffic lights, public transportation. We walked up and down South Orange Avenue as far as South Orange and West Orange. There was shopping all up and down the avenue.

I live in a city of about 70,000, attached to some smaller cities that make up a metropolitan area.

I used to live in a city (just outside but wirh the cities post code and admin) with a population of 89000 until 9 years ago.
It now boasts a population of 98000.

I just realised, thats an average increase of 1000 per year compared to where i live now that a averages 1 per year.

Edit. Also just realised, this is the other way round. I lived in a city small enough to be a town.
