I have met some of the most beautiful people in the world who try sincerely to be good Christians. They are a credit to humanity with their love and service to all. I was brought up to love all people as a Christian. Love to your mum, dad and your dear family.

True Christians but serve and love all humankind. Just because people call themselves Christians doesn’t mean they are. A true Christian will be known by his deeds of love and charity not by his words.

This guy on the video was talking about an obsolete and black era in mankind history. Slavery was a big business at that time and Islam managed to finish it in a wise way. Liberating a slave was put by Islam as on of the highly rewarded deed. I've learnt a lot from believers and non-believers alike, so the last thing I'm interested in doing is trashing them due to whether they believe in God or not.

It is true, that Koran and Bible present a "Sadistic God"
it is true, that exposing those verses is a good thing

If followers of these Scriptures keep ignoring these facts
It is naturally and good that Atheists keep hammering this truth

Because the Scriptures also tell that followers should follow Love
These "Sadistic" practices don't belong in Divine Scriptures

Key in Spiritual life is to uproot our bad habits: actions, words and thoughts
So starting with "bad habits" as in written words in Scriptures is paramount

Some people might complain "but there are also good verses in these Scriptures, why focus on the bad ones"

That is actually not such a smart reply:
1) If someone makes a mistake, the first step is to acknowledge this (The reply above does not do that. Even being in denial, which is worse)
2) If a criminal, who commits a crime and gets jail time, starts complaining about all the good he did, do you think it will fly well in court. Same here.

If the only thing you can pull out from the teaching of Islam is a culture thing that actually happened all over Europe America and Africa( the slaves) to be a religious thing, then you have misunderstood religion 100%.

You do know that before Christianity come to Europe it was common to have slaves? Most of the people who lived in Europe at that time were pagan. so if you want to take the root of the slave problem, maybe look into what happened before Christianity or Islam come.
