Do Christians Secretly Believe Jesus Walks Among Us?

I think they do. Maybe not all but some. At some point, I have found that people tend to take what they have learned in their religion and see how they can apply it to real life.

Have you ever listened to pastors speak? You can tell they’re all just itching to come out and say it. To say their truth. That heaven is the earth. Well more precisely the cosmos of which the earth is a part of. That “Jesus” is walking among us in the flesh. That when he dies existence will begin again with a new earth. It’s so clear. It’s more clear with certain ones. Especially the ones that get fired up. It’s so obvious to me that they’re not getting fired up from some dude that live 2000 years ago. I really wish the church would stop beating around the bush.

Jimmy, you are creating your own fictions here that other people secretly believe what you do. I am worried about you. Please take care.

I appreciate your concern but I’m good. I’m not creating anything. I’m just calling it like I see it.

Furthermore it’s not what I believe because they wouldn’t believe it’s me. However I do think they think it is someone,

Sorry, but I just don’t think people believe a guy 2000 yrs ago was god in the flesh, “rose” from the dead, will “return” to judge the earth and establish a “new” earth and new heaven. I ain’t buying it.

If someone told me that my beliefs were really something else I wouldn’t take offense. I’d say you’re wrong, have a nice day.

…and that the world will end when he dies?
No, Christians do not believe Jesus walks among us and the world will end when he dies. From the biblical perspective, Jesus is Alive, already risen from the dead, and in heaven until He returns in power and glory.

I’m sure some do think the way you do and I’m sure some think the way I think they do.

Your way leaves nothing but questions. What I think they think leaves nothing but answers.

No, they actually believe as they say. They believe he literally died, rose bodily from the grave and is in Heaven with the Father until he returns at the end of time. That's orthodox Christian belief. They're not pretending or lying, and it's rude to presume that they are to suit your own novel beliefs.

I’m not thoroughly convinced you believe that. I don’t know if you’re just saying that for some kind of hidden respect for others in their journey in finding “Christ”. The the way I see it, why not just cut to the chase, save everyone some time and just say who the “Christ” is and what he’s all about.

Not tryin to be rude. I’ll die thinking this way, I don’t buy their story. Sorry

I think when Christians come to realize that “Jesus” is a real man living on earth that’s when the big decision comes. Do they stay a Christian or do they leave Christianity altogether.

I think Christians would benefit to read this thread. It might help them to see what may be going on behind the scenes. It may open someone up to different possibilities.
