I have a feeling that a lot of Republicans are saying that right now.
I myself generally vote Democrat but I have been a lifelong Independent. I like policies that take care of people (Democrat) but I like to stay in budget (Republican). I like to be inclusive of others (Democrat) and avoid legislation that tells an individual what they can or cannot do (Republican). I like government to set standards (Democrat) but I would prefer that the free market be involved as much as possible in the implementation of those standards (Republican).
You should absolutely vote where your heart and mind find meaning and truth. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. But please be open to learning new things, taking the time to find out about something for yourself, find out the rewards and responsibilities for speaking truth and be fair and open-minded.

All US presidents lie except maybe for General Washington and John Adams, and they are suspect. Lincoln was one of the best presidents and one of the best liars. That's why they called him 'Honest Abe'. Kennedy literally saved the world from nuclear disaster, but he could lie with the best.
Hey, I like some things about Donald Trump, but I don't know the man. What I do know is he's never been poor, and to me that means he cannot possibly be completely grounded in reality. He's never even had the opportunity to experience failure. There is no walking the line for him, no oxygen choices, no dying from making a mistake.

Trump has failed time and again, and been bailed at a high cost at least once.
I don't think he has a very good connection with reality, though. In part because he has been so shielded from his own failures. But only in part.

Any respectable media will not like Trump, certainly. That is hardly remarkable.

Because Republicans want to relegate myself, my LGBT brothers and sisters, women, and ethnic minorities to second-class citizens at best. The call the poor lazy even though the poor are stuck working very difficult and hard jobs. And the love to go on about hard work being the key to success but if that were the case then farmers and construction workers would be among the best paid in society instead of occupying the lower rungs of our national pay scale.
I believe to be a successful politician, one has to be an authentic liar. The better one can lie and seem authentic about what they are saying, the more votes they will get.
Everyone has done something "wrong". While I doubt there was any "Russian Collusion" I suspect Trump has done many things wrong. I don't think someone gets to be president by being a boy scout.
