Do You Have A Halloween Costume?

Runt

I don't know if I'm doing anything for Halloween this year. I'm doing Samhain with my cousins a week before Halloween, and Samhain with my church's Sacred Earth Circle I think a week AFTER Halloween, and we're dressing up for the latter just for fun... but I don't know if I'm going to any Halloween parties or anything yet... if I do, I will probably wear my renaissance festival costume, since it is fun and all ready to go. :p If not, I'll have to either buy a costume or rummage through my stuff to make one. Maybe I'll be a modern spy chick or something (I have a black Brit army sweater, some black dickies, a pair of black boots... I could add a beanie and maybe one of my weapons from taekwondo, and perhaps coil a rope on one hip from my belt... hmm... this could be fun :p

I'm not sure yet, but right now I'm thinking of going as Professor Giraffenstein, the Creation Scientist.
Are you sure you want to stick your Neck out like that? All puns intended.:)

I dunno if I'm gonna dress up or not. My roomate and I are thinking about goint to see a scary movie.

But If I were to dress up, I would like to go as a mafioso or maybe a surfer. Something easy...

I might, haven't decided. I already have the kids costumes though, Spiderman and Dora the Explorer. :)
Ooh! You gotta dress up, and I want pictures!!! :p

Halloween isn't really 'done' here, so there'll be no trick-or-treating, and no dressing up. *sigh* I wanna go trick-or-treating!! :(

Bastet-- You can still dress up if you like. May I suggest a zombie dingo?

Sunstone-- A grumpy atheist, oh no! Lookout, he'll spill his coffee on us all!! lol

Hmm...maybe not lol. Last time I was in fancy dress, was 1996 or 97. I dressed up as a drag queen, for a co-worker's 21st birthday. Had people all night asking me if my bits and pieces were real. Still have the dress that I wore...I spent days sewing on the sequins lol.

Easiest costume there is for me is Adam, pre-apple - though my mother-in-law has a fig tree in her back yard.

Don't really celebrate Halloween here in Japan... I mean, I could go door to door as a gaijin with a bag. Would probably get more police calls than candy though. In fact, I don't think I'd get any candy...

I havn't done Halloween for 4 years anyway... I usually just get stuck with 'hand out candy' duty.

I'm going as a Gondalier- you know: Big boat, striped shirt, funny hat- the whole bit. I bet no one will figure it out though. My little sister is going to be a vampire. Fits her perfectly.

Then she'd have Steve Irwin and a camera crew chasing her down the street yelling 'Crikey!'

My kids asked if they could go trick or treating...had to try and explain to them why it was pointless here.

What are the funniest costumes you guys have ever seen?

Last year, a friend of mine wanted to dress up as Jesus. Since I go to a Catholic school, it was a bit of a touchy issue and he had to get special permission. Well, 'Halloween Dress Up Day' came, and he walked in wearing sandals, a white robe, and a RAINBOW CLOWN WIG! I don't know if I've ever laughed so hard in my life! Oh the humanity!

I have to go to a wedding on Halloween. O.O

So I'll be dressed up, just in a more formal and less fun way. ^.-
