Ah, so scriptural debates. I'll answer from that perspective then!
The Bible is clear that if God doesn't know me- he didn't want to, and this has nothing to do with me:
Proverbs 16:4 The LORD has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble.
Isaiah 6:9-10 He said, "Go and tell this people: "'Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.' Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed."
John 6:37 All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.
Romans 9:22-23 What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath--prepared for destruction? What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory
What the OP calls the word of God says it's not up to me or you if we know God. Trust that God has chosen us for his wrath, and he will ensure we can't know him by blinding us, giving us over to lies, and so forth. God does this to show love for his favorites, who he already chose by election.
