Note: 34 students at a CA university have recently settled with the RIAA and paid thousands for downloading illegal copies.

Ugh. Those ridiculous damage fees? What does the RIAA demand per song downloaded, something like $250 per song downloaded? I mean there should be a penalty above the actual value of the song but the value they ask for is ridiculous.
