(Objectivism & capitalism aren't the same thing

No they are not, one is a political philosophy and the other is an system of economics. The purple subforums in the Political World section are for political movements only. Capitalism is not a political movement.

Is anyone annoyed at watching just the 2 of us go at it?
Wait....I didn't mean "go at it" in the sense of "go at it".
I meant just "go at it".

Ya know, I suspected that.
Perhaps you hate the idea of a bunch'o us running capitalist dogs congregating to sing
the praises of money & free markets without anyone barging in to break some china, eh?

No. Not all capitalist believe in a free market, see this is where you guys go wrong. You think all capitalist come from the same cookie cutter. There are different types of capitalisms and capitalists.

Your correctly point out that a capitalist DIR would be a great place to discuss that.

It says that Capitalism is a political system too.

It's still not a political movement or philosophy. I guess Oxford is defining it as such because it does effect politics. But there is no political philosophy or movement called Capitalism.

Says who? Here is the definition of Capitalism capitalism definition - Google Search
Well, some posters here don't recognize others' usage or definition of "capitalism".

Regarding your signature de jour....
If you think that the idea of a Capitalism DIR is fair, just like there is a Socialist DIR, a Feminist DIR, and a Liberal DIR, take this poll
Since feminism & liberalism aren't political movements, by their reasoning these DIRs
should not exist. And even socialism isn't inherently political, since it could be under a
monarchy, dictatorship, oligarchy, or democracy (so long as it has a strong central authority).
You don't think all the objections are ad hoc, do you?

They just dont want an Capitalist DIR without any solid reason, other than they hate Capitalism. Haters of Opposition.
