Do you think you have any 3rd choice. What/how ?

Suppose, a long time back we all were the citizen of God's world. God created/started this universe/world because we made this demand for fun sake. We thought it would be fun living/playing in this world, like.. playing a video game. This video game provides us countless -- chances/lifelines/rebirths to continue in the game.

I believe that we have only (2) two options:
  1. Continue in the game, or
  2. Quit playing the game.
I believe that as soon as one quit playing -- one will find him/herself in God's world. Quitting the game sound an easy task, but is NOT that easy. Quitting the game = Quitting all thoughts. Wanna like to give it a try ? Or your'e so busy in playing -- that you have NO time left to think about that ?

Or do you think you have any 3rd choice. What / how ?

Kindly note: please do refrain posting in this thread if you don't like to suppose.

We live in God's world already though.

You can see glimpses of it (as though through a mirror dimly), but the world of separation is like pavement over grass. Sooner or later, the grass pokes through. It's a thin veneer where we see suffering, and think God is absent. Actually God suffers with us, and one day, this suffering will end.

It's funny you mention video games. We don't need to quit thought to see God. We just need to understand that God is with us , that we can see God through the friends who hang out with us. When I was young, I had a girl my age play games with me. Rebecca, I think her name was. I've played games with another friend, Mitchell who was a big Genesis gamer. At one point, we rented a multiplayer RPG from the video store called Secret of Mana, and three of us wandered aimlessly through towns. I think at like time for them to go home, I finally figured out where to go, but before that, we all kinda pulled each other around. Lately a family friend (unfortunately much younger than I am) has visited occasionally.
I like to do things outdoors too. Skiing, hiking, etc. But being able to play games with friends is fun.

When we stop taking reality so seriously, then we connect with God.

Of course there's a third choice: Beating the game.

I think this is what the OP meant by quitting the game.

Quitting the game is actually the third option, and is suicide. Most of the people who do that don't understand reality, and so retain no memories.
Playing the game would be accepting the premise of life, and continuing to do life, working hard, earning money, then dying and repeating the thing. The game is rigged, you see. It's Undertale. All that grind actually was no good, and might have even hurt you.
Quitting actually means also accepting the premise, but letting it defeat you.

In order to beat the game, you first have to understand that it is a game. You have to understand that the things of this world are illusions and that we are meant to see God face to face (Buddhist/Christia syncretism there).

When one start interacting with each and every thing / person / scenario / circumstances (both good and bad) like -- as one is interacting with God. That is ALSO equal to quitting the thoughts. In fact, it is the correct way of quitting all the worldly thoughts/world/game. More the practice, more the worldly thoughts get vanish, and finally one find him/herself out of the game. :)

If you're really fed-up of playing game, he'll definitely answer you in some way or another. In some way -- that will definitely satisfy you his existence.

But, keep thing in mind that if you aren't really fed-up playing this world/game, then he will not come. NO acting can make God fool. :)
Well I am a bit indifferent to the game so I suppose I won't be getting any answers. I just lament what humans are likely to become or not.

One has to wonder, what's beyond that 3rd choice, and how to get there. I guess "Do no harm" might help.
I sense that all here know their errors in their life, but who really knows the end of this life, and who makes the decision for us.
Once again, too many gods, too many choices. I will be as I will be, so be it. I wonder, what's beyond Nirvana ?

I don't understand your question. Can rephrase adding some more detail to it ?

All in all: what's beyond Nirvanas, does it too have golden gates ?
We have life that gives, and death that gives the question of a 3rd choice?
Be that be one of the many gods that abound here, all of them imaginary.
The same questions appear, what is after the 3rd choice....could be spirit, free and unbound.
Ahhhh the windmills....

Ancient Soul

The Spiritual Universe
Death-rebirth is like.. loosing and getting another lifeline/chance in the same game.
Coma is like.. your mario is unable to move because of body damage, but still wanna play after repairs, or by getting another new body/lifeline/chance.
Silencing the mind is like.. naughty mario is sleeping for some time, will wake-up and start playing after some rest.

What is.. "Quitting the game = Quitting all thoughts." ?

Suppose you are playing MARIO sitting in room at your home.
While playing the game you are the character in that game, busy in running.. collecting coins.. etc.

Quitting the game/thought = just stop playing. That's it.
And, you will find yourself back home / Oneness with God !
Welcome back home !!
Enlightenment happens !!!

You will say.. Oh! I was stupidly playing this game from such a long time.

You usually have some good thoughts, but that one is a bit on the hmm... I cannot say stupid or I might get dinged by the mods, so let's just say not very well thought out.

But to play along, NO it doesn't work that way.

The problem here is our level of thinking. We people live/play in a world where we people always find someone more richer -- stronger -- intelligent -- powerful than another. But, never find the end person/power.

For example; "Sole proprietorship". When the word "sole-proprietorship" comes in our mind, there comes all that governmental laws associated with it -- we find government even more powerful than a sole proprietor -- thereafter, we find somebody even more powerful than government -- and so on.

This world/game is also a curiosity searching/finding sole-owner/end power -- player/mario runs after the whole life time, but, never find. But, this is NOT the case God. He's the sole proprietor of everything and nobody controls/governs him. God is the creator of game in which we all are playing in.

When player quits the game -- finds him/herself associated with God / Oneness with God. Thereafter, player becomes the creator of game itself.

@chinu ,
Oh ok, one more circle around the web, I think I'll try to find another choice.
Have fun ! That's a really large bush your running around there. See you.

Life is the cause of all giving, or receiving. One other choice would be death, or the spirit, if it exists, will be free to make it's own choices, I'll know when I'm dead, won't I, searching for heaven ???

But, I believe there's rebirth after death.
