I will give you one small example which I thought of when someone in the forum wrote about the temptation of Jesus.

If God is the ruler of the universe, then Satan knows it. The same applies for Jesus, if he is God as most Christians believe.
Now imagine that I stop you when you drive your car and tell you that if you worship me, I will give you the car you are driving.
Is it the most stupid thing you ever heard?
I'm certain that if Jesus and Satan are real, they would be laughing their heads off.
The story is simply fictitious.
This proves what God said, when He said the things of God are foolishness to those who are perishing. You speak out of ignorance because Gods Word doesn't make any sense to you. That's fine, but remember that God has millions of children who hear His voice and we hear everything He has said.
I don't have the time or patience to teach you the basic elementary things about the Bible, but I can see you know nothing at all about it, so you're not qualified to comment on the subject.

If secular historians confirmed that the bible is historically accurate I would immediately burn my Bibles. God said He wrote the bible in such a way that it can only be understood by His Elect Saints . He said it is foolishness to the secular man, because the secular man has no concept of spiritual things as he is nothing more than a carnal animal.

I'm glad you confirmed what God said to be factual, thank you. God said, they will diligently seek to understand but I will hide the truth from them so they will never understand the Holy Scriptures. So, the scriptures only make sense to those who God chose to reveal it to. The rest are under Gods wrath and stand condemned to hell.

You don't get to dictate what's acceptable and what's not when it comes to what the bible teaches You must conform and never attempt to change or challenge anything God said.
I am not a bible worshiper.

I don't want you to explain anything, because you do not have critical mind as far as the Bible is concerned. You are simply blinded.

Are you one of his Elect Saints?

There is no possibility whatsoever that 66-81 books in the Bible, written by different authors about the same hypothetical subject, in a span of half a millennium, can be without hundreds of contradictions, falsehoods and fictitious stories. I know no other book claiming to be serious and truthful, but containing so many false and contradicting stories.

The author of Matthew gospel alone used minimum 18 OT irrelevant "prophecies" to justify some of his fictitious stories such as the virgin birth, the Magi, the trip to Egypt, Jesus entrance to Jerusalem and many more. The author of Luke who copied 70% of Matthew's gospel (in some cases, word for word) has also included some, but by no means all. Even he thought it was too much.

Noting you say makes any sense, all of your comments contradict you and it's obvious you have been conditioned by false doctrine so your opinion is invalid and worthless and worse still you deny the truth of God so you are under His wrath.

Responding to criticism with revenge fantasies probably isn't the healthiest coping strategy.

You made the most ignorant comment I've ever heard in my life so congrats.
l take it you don't read your own posts, then.

I've seen threads of...
Theists: Does God Exist?
Atheist: Does God Exist?

IMO That refers to one certain God

So painting with a broader brush, does any supernatural god exist?
The question is, what constitutes "existing"?

As far as I can tell, the ONLY way in which supernatural beings are known to exist is as concepts, notions, things imagined in individual brains.

Since there's no objective test that can distinguish between the imaginary and the supernatural, the claim that God exists "spiritually" is the same thing as saying God is imaginary / purely conceptual. The same way that characters and creatures in fiction exist.

To be "real" is, in my view, to have objective existence, that is, to exist in nature, the world external to the self which we know about through our senses. Yet God never appears, never says, never does, lets tragedies unfold in front of [him] while lifting a finger to help only as often as is indistinguishable from chance.

Perhaps most precisely on the question in the OP, God has no description appropriate to a real being, one with objective existence. God is instead defined by abstractions ─ perfect, omnipotent, omniscient, infinite, eternal ─ all imaginary qualities.

Thus if we found a real suspect, there appears to be no way of determining whether this is God or not.

Nor is there any definition of "godness", the quality a real god would have and a superscientist who could create universes, raise the dead, &c, would lack.

I've raised these questions here on the debate boards many many times, so that the lines above just float off my keyboard by now. Perhaps someone would care to address them.

I have no respect for Doctors or scientists as they are super dumb, I know more they do combined. The disgraceful truth is, Doctors don't even know how to cure the common clod. And the scientific community is a basket case of conflicting false theories, they are clueless to answer elementary question which my 3 year old nephew asks. They don't have a clue who we are, where we came from, why we are here and where we're going.

See small minds are easily hoodwinked by dumb scientists and Doctors, but intelligent people treat them as dumb imbeciles.
As I said, humanity will be grateful if you continue on your path...

You have deluded yourself into believing you interact with nature. The sad reality is humans cannot communicate with nature in any way. Nature hates humans and seek to kill us at every opportunity. Just google how many people are killed by animals and nature every year, it will blow your mind
Talk about deluded. Your god supposedly created nature and those animals so I reckon he is responsible for their deaths lol

It is estimated that there are some 320 million gods, but there is only One Supernatural God who claims to have created everything that exists. We have documented records of the God who made the claim. We don't have any evidence to suggest that any of the others gods exist outside of our imagination.
The only imaginal god is the one that is supernatural and thus not a part of our world. The only way to know a supernatural god is through the imagination.

Yes and humans hate humans. Stay away from humans. There are humans that you and I cannot communicate because the speak in a different language and are out to get us. " Danger, Will Robinson, Danger"

You made the most ignorant comment I've ever heard in my life so congrats. Claiming to be an ex Christian shows your ignorance and no such thing exists. You never were a Christian, but you were a fake Christian and that's something to be ashamed of
No True Scotsman today, eh?

Everyone thinks they know the real truth and everybody else is deluded. This is the default human condition, and pride prevents everyone from considering the possibility that they may be wrong.
I can tell you don't know the basic facts about the bible, so you're not equipped or qualified to have a meaningful discussion about the bible.
It would be very helpful if you looked at both sides of the argument, before you draw to incorrect conclusions. It's obvious you've read what those who are opposed to the Church have to say about the bible, so you need to read what Christians have to say.

No, that's not true. Nature was good to us before we sinned against God. Then nature became hostile and now it's killing thousands everyday. Why don't you spend a night in the jungle and see how much nature loves you, it's only loves for for dinner

Everyone thinks they know the real truth and everybody else is deluded... Corrected!

Bollocks... Everybody with a brain can discuss meaningfully about any subject, especially if one has studied it, like me.

I was a Christian before, so I studied the Bible with a Christian mind and slowly became.. agnostic. So your claim is totally invalid.

But you didn't answer my question on you claim that...
God said He wrote the bible in such a way that it can only be understood by His Elect Saints
Are you one of his Elect Saints?
