Have you heard the logic law "of non-contradiction"? Catholics say, that Holy Spirit comes from Jesus. Eastern Orthodox Christianity says, that it is not true. And I am Quest for Truth.
Could you explain what you think the law of non-contradiction means please? As I think you have failed to understand it, as a principle of logic.

" slavery is freedom" is kind of like a contradiction.
So is free will, and love, followed by the threat of eternal torture if we don't accept this deity's "love". Like a Mafia boss demanding respect, but what he gets is fear, not respect.

What are rights? There is only God's given rights.
I disagree, until I die, what are you asserting will happen?

If the answer is nothing then crack on, your imaginary deity can fill its boots when I am dead, I don't have a problem with this idea. It's when people who insist they speak for a deity start telling me what I can and cannot say and do in this life, then I start to fight back.

The Bible is not open to interpretation

Revelation 5:5

And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Daniel 12. 8-9

And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end

2 Peter 1:20

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

‘Men of God who interpret prophecy through the Holy Spirit is NOT referring to priests or religious leaders but Prophets in the vein of Christ, Moses, Muhammad etc Who were inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Summary: No personal interpretation of the Bible will be accurate.

Panthera (Jesus's father) - Wikipedia

"In the 2nd century, Celsus, a Greek philosopher, wrote that Jesus's father was a Roman soldier named Panthera."

......

"The story that Jesus was the son of a man named Pantera is referred to in the Talmud, in which Jesus is widely understood to be the figure referred to as "Ben Stada":"

Jesus in the Talmud - Wikipedia

The link above is about possible references in the Talmud about Jesus. Some believe it, others don't.

I am one who does believe this. The circumstances are rather complex, and I'd rather not discuss this topic in this train wreck of a thread. Let's just say the base aspersions that may come to mind are not necessarily the reality.

I do remember they recently found his ossuary in Germany, where he was later stationed.
Panthera (Pather) wasn't just a 'soldier' he was a Standard Bearer and / or Centurion.
Fairly high ranking.

Bible does not interpret itself. Bible is fact. Any fact needs correct interpretation.....

Yes, the existence of Bible is a fact. What Bible tells is words and Bible gives the correct meaning for the words, you don't have to invent better meanings.
