does initiator exist

I mean the one who initiate the universe?

can we depend on assumption that there must be an initiator for any entity?
Hi Mohammed
Yes, if you accept that something cannot come from nothing. Then in other words everything has a single source. One could try to refute that logic... which would be interesting. :)

Given the above we then don't need to depend on assumption alone, if we look to the methods of knowledge.

What? Me worry?
1. Yes, only because we simply cannot comprehend otherwise.

2. No,only because it drives us crazy trying to figure it out.

I don't know. But all I do know is that "Initiator" sounds like a really awesome name for a robot.

No.

No because an initiator entity would also need an initiator.

Bringing in an initiator would have to presume that the initiator has no cause but to will something has a cause. In short, logically the uncaused would have to be able to will something without cause to do so, without thinking about it.

For all we know, it could be the result of our universe coming into existence from another universe; an idea I think is quite awesome.

I dunno. It's starting to become less and less appealing when they showed that the universe is accelerating in its expansion.

Absolutely because the assumption is based on logic.

and id like to hear exactly how belief in magic and faith, is logical because ancient men who knew nothing of the natural world around them, took a stab in the dark and created their own version through mythology and theology.

so far scientifically, there is not one thing that can be attributed in any part of the universe to any sort of a entity.

this means there is no one who initaited anything, by scientific standards.

Depends. Initiator / creator seems to generally imply something consciously choosing to create this universe for a purpose (its own reasons). However, there are many reasons why I do not believe there is a creator. Rather, the universe came to exist simply due to natural processes that go beyond the processes we are familiar with and love.
