Does Paul demand obedience to the Commandments?

Its all written on ones heart in love-- if you truly had the required love for your brother or sister--you wouldnt covet their things--you wouldnt steal from them-- you wouldnt commit adultery on them-- you wouldnt murder them--etc.

I agree, and if you had the true love for God on your heart you'd know it's wrong to work on Sabbath, let alone light a fire. Since the same laws from the Old Covenant apparently apply like not coveting and all. And there's no distinction between "moral" and "Ceremonial" Law, the law is the law. Just like how you'd know its wrong to bow to idols or curse Him.

The problem with this argument is that according to your logic, if I don't love the guy, then it's okay for me to covet his things, steal from him, commit adultery, or murder him.

I personally believe that Paul IS referring to the whole law, I tend to think along these lines: At the time that Paul and the apostles lived the New testament was not yet finished, it was actually being written at this time, and any reference to the law would have had to be referring to the mosaic law because the only available scripture at the time would have had to be the old testament.
