Does the Bible Permit Women to Lead, Teach, Preach or Speak?

No this is a total misrepresentation of Scripture. Paul nowhere tells men to submit to women, and nowhere does he recognise women leadership in the church. If you have not read, Paul clearly said in 1 Timothy 2:11-12, "A woman should learn in quietness and full submission (to the men). I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent." (NIV)

Could Paul be any clearer on this subject.

A few ago, I've read it somewhere that Paul didn't write 2 Timothy. Probably read this here.

Well, I don't remember anything about 2 Timothy, because I have not read it 20 or so years ago and I don't like Paul's letters....

In fact, the only letter that I found remotely interesting was the epistle of Jude.

Although Christ is the head of the Christian congregation [Eph 5v23]
according to 1st Cor. [11v3] the head of Christ is God.

How many captains does each ship have or need?______

Or, think about the order in the school system.
Who complains about the rank there?
The teacher is over the student.
The principal is over the teacher.
The super is over the principal.

The reason people do not protest those arrangements is because they work.

Our Creator knows what works best for us.
Ephesians chapter six says Children be obedient to parents.
Does not say just women but both father and mother.

Of course. You just simplified what I wrote. God is over all. Men are over women and children. Therefore, if God makes a child messenger to the man, he had better take note.

So... if a woman has a calling from God, she'd be effectively above the man by virtue of her calling?
