What about procreation with children? Do you "discriminate" against that?
The world certainly doesn't need more children, if that's your argument.

pedophilia is the argument. do you discriminate against that? The world certainly doesn't need more children, if that's your argument.
pedophilia is the argument. do you discriminate against that?
You are talking about discrimination. I am merely showing that we discriminate all the time. So what is new? You are merely discriminating against those that don't hold your opinions on "discrimination".How is pedophilia relevant here?
Are you saying that discrimination against those who practice raping children (statutory or otherwise) is the same as all other forms of discrimination? What about procreation with children? Do you "discriminate" against that?
Discrimination is discrimination, is it not. Dress it how you will, it amounts to the same thing. We make choice in life. Are you saying that discrimination against those who practice raping children (statutory or otherwise) is the same as all other forms of discrimination?
It's not. It's a red herring. He keeps wanting to use examples of things which have victims and compare them to those things that are victimless in order to try to justify his own discrimination towards people. It's what he does. How is pedophilia relevant here?

Not really. For starters, discrimination has at least two distinct definitions:Discrimination is discrimination, is it not. Dress it how you will, it amounts to the same thing. We make choice in life.
For starters, discrimination has at least two distinct definitions:
- the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex.
- recognition and understanding of the difference between one thing and another.
But with diversity, discrimination comes in, that's why there's diversity in the first place.
Does your religion treat everyone equally, or is there any form of discrimination based on race, gender or sexual orientation?
So do you approve of discrimination?
Well clearly a good father will punish a wayward child....not because the father is cruel, but because he loves them...Our elders may be wise beyond our relative youth...and know that certain errors of behavior will lead to a very bad end....such is the way of mature love to do what is right for the long term...even though it may bring unhappiness in the short....Some interesting views. Personally I really struggle to see how a mature spiritual path can involve any form of discrimination based on race, gender or sexual orientation. Discrimination and bigotry are among the more unpleasant aspects of human nature, so condoning or encouraging such attitudes seems very strange to me.
One might as well ask if I approve of gravity. Discrimination exists in all human cultures, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. You're going to have to be more specific, and frankly, I don't see the point of making this personal.
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor freeman, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in union with Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:28) As to "sexual orientation", "Those who are sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, men who submit to homosexual acts, men who practice homosexuality, thieves, greedy people, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners will not inherit God’s Kingdom. And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean; you have been sanctified; you have been declared righteous in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-11)Does your religion treat everyone equally, or is there any form of discrimination based on race, gender or sexual orientation?
When I was a Christian attending a Baptist church, a woman was not allowed to be the lead church pastor and it still isn't allowed. A majority of Protestant churches follow that rule. Women are supposed to be submissive to men. That's clearly discriminatory.Does your religion treat everyone equally, or is there any form of discrimination based on race, gender or sexual orientation?
