If he actually had the scholarly success attributed to him, I'd have expected him to compare it with Dubya's more pedestrian (& publicly revealed) efforts.

Um, you didn't originally say it was a "pseudo-issue" though, you indicated you thought there was something significant Obama was hiding.

And Romney's dog was a pseudo-issue, but not his tax returns. Why shouldn't the electorate deserve to know the level of tax paid by a fat cat who made his bucks through vulture capitalism, if this fat cat wants to determine tax policy for everyone else?

I suppose so. But I'm just pointing out that the argument about the taxes a candidate has paid is actually relevant to judging whether you want someone making tax policy for the nation, and the significance of someone's grades (considering that even a superstar president like FDR was a p*ss-poor student) is only relevant to partisan sniping.
