Gotta love the privilege.....

Anyone that thinks another politician ought to have been shot should have been arrested but unfortunately his district attorney will not.

Hard to say. The radio commentator quoted the outgoing DA Mike Ramos, but since he's a lame duck at this point, he might not do anything. The incoming district attorney might take action, though.

“We have been made aware of the negative comments and they do not represent the views of the District Attorney’s Office,” San Bernardino County DA Mike Ramos, who lost his re-election bid in June, said in a statement. “Since this is a personnel matter I cannot comment any further.”

Incoming San Bernardino district attorney Jason Anderson, who defeated Ramos last month, told the Sun that the posts were “a little bit salty,” and that they weren’t “a reflection of the image I would like to portray of the D.A.’s office.”

So what exactly does "mayonnaise" represent?

Also, what's a "yardy"?

I wasn't sure either, so I looked it up:

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=mayonnaise

This definition seems to fit the context:

3) Boring, whiter than white. Used by Caucasians to refer to other Caucasians who shun their ethnic heritage in favor of a more yuppie lifestyle. Originally used by Italian Americans from the Mid-Atlantic states, it has gained more use due to its reference in the popular HBO show, The Sopranos.

It's sad that such stories are so common that it's impossible to avoid tripping over them.

Given that the guy is already out of his job (soon) what exactly is the point in having him resign? He is already assassinating his own future career. Do you not think his (anti)social media comments will not come back to haunt him when he is out looking for his next job? That said, as loathsome as Maxine Waters is, as someone who clearly needs herself to be replaced by someone much younger and hopefully by a much more effective leader, his comment to assassinate her are purely vitriolic rhetoric.

Calling her names is also hardly helpful either but when you have created your own little cottage industry of hate you really should expect some blowback. Not saying it is OK to call her those names, as other names are vastly more suitable, but finding people who think she is a tiny bit over the top can't be unexpected. Going way, way, way over the top in response to her is also not exactly a brilliant strategy. It's sort of like a race to the bottom of understanding and communication and Maxine is already a master in that department.

Selyum (the guy who made the actual comments) still has his job, although people are calling for the DA to fire him, which he hasn't done yet. The DA himself (Ramos) was ousted by the voters, although this may not affect the job of those working under the DA in the same office. The incoming DA (Anderson) hasn't said whether he'll fire him or keep him.

Thanks for that. I was confused as to who was who. I'd fire him. My guess is that the incoming DA will too.

Yardy is an east coast thing I'm not sure. Mayonnaise in the context how "Charlemagne Tha God" uses it refers to anyone (mostly those that are deplorable and white) are not of the natural element. Originally designated to Taylor Swift after that aweful cover of Earth Wind and Fire. Essentially it is someone who is without flavor.

Also, what's a "yardy"?

A Jamaican gangster or drug dealing cartel member. I used to live next door to a crack house when I was a student, briefly, met a few of the yardy lads there, great people, so great, better than Mexican drug dealers..

Ah, so it is a racist statement. I get it. But mayonnaise adds great flavor to a sandwich.

A prosecutor calling for someone to be shot? (Is this implying that he will withhold prosecution if someone does?)

So it's just like calling black people "watermelons" but without the positive connotations.

Nah, because it would seem funny to you and @Revoltingest cause you guys find lame things funny. But watermelons have a racial connotation mayonnaise does not. That is his deal. But if you feel the need to make more racist connotations I'm in the mood to roast ethnic groups this morning if you feel the need to make that known.

In post #10, you gave it the racial connotation.
To backpedal on that is both "lame" and funny.

Hey, don't blame me.
I'm only posting here cuz you called me.
(Looks like somebody checks the frubal lists, eh.)

This was Charlemagne's thing....I said it was meant for deplorable white folks not ALL white folks he originally made the comment towards Taylor Swift's rendition to Earth, wind, and Fire's song which was deplorable to even do a cover on. There is a history of attributing watermelon to black people not mayonnaise if you're too stupid to realize then you're even more dumb than I thought which was a low bar.
I understand you're unseasoned chicken yourself and I'm sure you like bland music but this is what the man was talking about. Now if you think calling people water, melon is funny I have a bag of jokes about the great many Caucasians who love methamphetamine.
