I reckon that depends upon how you define rape...If you are drunk you are incapable of something as difficult as rape.

Getting drunk does not offer them anything
they want.
If you are drunk you are incapable of something as difficult as rape.
If you are drunk you are incapable of something as difficult as rape.
What a grossly ignorant and irresponsible statement.
Indeed it is.
Alcohol dramatically increases the propensity for violence and anger in many males, as well as can trigger some very "basic" psychological and physiological responses. It's also a pain-reliever and if the right psychological conditions are met, can trigger access to large reserves of adrenaline and testosterone that can influence a person fight and "stay in the fight" long after many would throw in the towel. Suffice to say, alcohol IS a very popular participant in acts of rape and sexual abuse.
Duh..
I suspect you have a different definition of Drunk. We link Drunk and incapable.
Fighting Drunk Is fairly common in some parts of the UK.
Drunk and sexual attacks far less common. as Brewers droop sets in first.
However a little dutch courage does play its part in rape attacks.
I suspect It goes with Culture. and what you see as usual, is not the same as what we see as usual.

Never misjudge a potential perpetrator of rape just because you think they're incapable. That is the point, is it not?
A high proportion of Rape is done by people they know and trusted, very often by close friends, work mates or members of their own family.
Like Murder, Rape by a stranger is rare.
So, no, you don't think that's the point, right? In regards to rape, it's more relevant to be cautious of those you know and trust rather than be cautious of how many drinks the people around you have had. Is that the point?
It clearly shows drink is not the major factor in rape.
