Revelation 11 about the two witnesses is about God (Duality) giving testimony to his chosen people. In Rev. 11, which I claim to be the story about God (two witnesses), we have direct evidence for God's duality. It is in the last few verses of Rev. 11. "Then Gods' temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant." (Rev. 11:19). We know there are two angels facing one another on the top of the "ark of the covenant." Those two angels represent God's duality. The ark is a literal interpretation for God's duality. Therefore, it would be appropriate for it to be mentioned in relationship to the "two witnesses" (God) in Rev. 11. Revelation was given to John by the Old Testament Lord, who is a duality. So, this section of Revelation is about the "author of Revelation."

God is one.

Okay, you have one God. Let's work on some problems.

We know there is a timeline to the universe, it began with the big bang. However, in heaven there is no timeline, there is eternity. So, assuming there is one God, how would one God get along with itself in eternal heaven before angels were created? Wouldn't it be better if there were two Gods, and they would therefore be companions? The problem, of course, is we weren't there!

I propose the two Gods were perfect companions before they created angels. They created angels for companionship, and to share in their holy order.

Oneness really stinks. No one, including a supernatural being wants to be alone. Oh, yes, Jesus was God, and God is a duality. They're perfect companions.

How would humans function without duality?

A man has two brains inside his head. As he talks, one brain lights up while the other brain remains dark. Suddenly, as the man talks, the other brain lights up. Does one brain, or do two brains, control the conversation? Are the two brains exactly the same? Do they have separate functions? Maybe, both brains are permanently lit. Do they replicate one another, or do they have separate functions without interrupting talking? While this is a hypothetical discussion, it is a real puzzle if one is analyzing God when he was in the world as Jesus. It is an eternal mystery! It would be easier if God really had a brain. Perhaps, this dilemma best explains a human’s inability to understand God’s duality. Oh, for the purpose of conceiving the Gods in heaven, it is reasonable to conclude interaction of two Gods in the sphere with angels in a worship circle would provide an infinite variety of exchanges.

There are many examples in nature of duality: two wings on birds, two arms, two legs, two feet, two sides of the brain, two mating pairs, etc. There are many more examples of duality in our material world, just look at chemistry (opposites reacting), and physical laws (gravity and anti-gravity), etc. You cannot deny the importance of duality throughout the universe. Then, of course, we have mathematical formulas (odd and even division of numbers), balanced equations, etc. Examples of duality are too numerous to mention. Why wouldn’t nature reflect its creator?

Analyze the “two witnesses” from Revelations 11 according to three assumptions.

1. Jesus was God. God is two persons in one, equally powerful and holy.
2. Revelation is both past and future.
3. John, the author, believed, as did others, Jesus was the son of God, not God. Moreover, none of the Jesus movement followers believed God was a duality. Therefore, we would expect John's beliefs to influence his narrative.

The two witnesses were Jesus (God). The math fits, but the narrative is sketchy. However, the story, based on fact and symbolism, is consistent.

John was told “Go and measure the temple of God and the alter, and count the worshipers there. But exclude the outer court; do not measure it because it has been given to the gentiles. They will trample on the city for 42 months. And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days (Jesus ministry), clothed in sackcloth.” Rev. 11:1-3.

Multiple 42 by 30, the results are 1,260 days. Divide 1,260 days by 365. The results are 31/2 years. The period of time that Gentiles tramped the holy city and the time Jesus “will prophesy” is 31/2 years.

Read Revelations 11:7-9. “Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them. Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. For three and a half days men from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze at their bodies and refuse them burial.”

Read Revelations 11:11. “But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, ‘come up her.’ And they went up into heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.”

According to biblical scholars, the life and death of Jesus derives from legend and rumor, not historical records.

Now read Revelation 12 about the woman and the dragon. I believe it is about God’s angels fighting Satan while God was in the world as Jesus. Notice the women (God), “clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.” (Rev. 12:1&2). Take note of the twelve stars on her head. They represent God’s twelve angels; Satan is the thirteenth angel. Jesus (God) was about to give testimony to His chosen people. Then, Satan threatened Jesus (God).

“The dragon stood in front of the woman (God) who was about to give birth. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” (Rev. 12:4&5). The male child was Jesus
(God).

The ministry of Jesus was about 31/2 years.

The human mind can't conceive of two persons in one, so the gospel writers came up with conclusion based on human logic. Jesus was the son of God, unless he was both, "if you really know me, you will know my father as well, from now on, you do know him and have seen him." (John 14:7). I believe you could rewrite much of the gospels without references to the son of God, or to either father or son. If there is no son of God, there would be no sacrifice for our sins, unless you want to believe that both Gods sacrificed for humanity. Based on a dream, a Roman soldier murdered Jesus. Jews had nothing to do with it. However, due to Anti-Semitism, Jews have been blamed.
