Dying is easy, living is hard

Living is trying to satisfy bosses, hard, unappreciated work, being alone in a crowd, disappointments, rarely getting to do what you want to do, upset stomachs, constipation, excess gas, heartburn, accidents, headaches, nightmares, freeway jams, earth quakes, tornadoes, fires, etc.

Why would anyone in his right mind want to live in that hostile. lonely, environment?

Ooh ooh I think Shakespeare answers this perfectly -

For who would bear the Whips and Scorns of time,
The Oppressor's wrong, the proud man's Contumely,
The pangs of despised Love, the Law’s delay,
The insolence of Office, and the Spurns
That patient merit of the unworthy takes,
When he himself might his Quietus make
With a bare dagger?

But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscovered Country, from whose bourn
No Traveler returns, Puzzles the will,
And makes us rather bear those ills we have,
Than fly to others that we know not of.
Thus Conscience does make Cowards of us all,

The only part of living that is hard for me, is knowing so many innocent people/children die at the hands of evil twisted men and there is nothing I can do about it.

If you focus on the bad stuff of course life will seem bad, there is much more beauty in the world than what you call bad, how you think will draw to you the things you think of, just like a magnet, my god I was raped when I was very young, I was shot by a stranger, I also just got over cancer, and life to me is better than ever. Some times we need to suffer before we realize how much we are missing, many who have had some sort of near death experience , afterwards realize how important life is to them, it maybe time for you to realize how important life is to you?.

Yeah and they are all Republicans who hate children, veterans, women, workers, ethnics and Senator Reid. Rig elections rules,

According to happiness and life satisfaction surveys, the majority of people in developed countries are happy. The bulk of people report a 7 or better on a scale of 0-10, with lots of 9's and 10's being reported.

So I think a lot of people want to live here because they're happy.

The OP seems to assume most people are not happy, which is not a reflection of what most people in the Americas, Europe, and Oceana report themselves to be.

Why indeed? Why do you?

Don't underestimate the power of belief. It is what gives you peace.

Maybe to those who need peace, but not me. I thrive on controversy and unanswerable questions.

Everybody is seeking peace even you. Sometimes it is more obvious than other times but need for living in peace with ourselves is always what makes us do what we do. Starting from why we bother to go to school till we die. Our seeking for peace will be more obvious in situations of depression and problem facing.

Your nickname is factseeker. So factseeker88, why are you a fact seeker?

Why are you searching for answers. What would knowing the "answers" serve you? Why do you want to have more information and knowledge?

Why, because that is who and what I am, and there's nothing I can do about it. You are also trapped by who and what you are, an answer seeker just like me.

You are failing in getting the big picture. What you said is true. We are all answer seekers.

Why is that? Why not sit there and not care? Why don't we say what ever happens happens?

We are looking after answers because we think that when we find them, we will live with ourselves in peace. That is the motive behind every single thing we do in life.

We care and do nothing about it because we're a part of the world relentless trend we have no control over, which has no beginning or end, and trying to change or alter it is like diverting the flow of a roaring river with a tooth pick.

I think it is inevitable that a worldview based on naturalism would lead to a fatalistic outlook on life and it is understandable that such is the case. I personally would be there myself were it not for the fact that my hope is in the LORD who made heaven and earth and who has promised redeem the situation with a new heaven and earth where sin and death (along with all the associated troubles) will no longer exist.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. Philippians 4:8

This is a loaded question. What you mentioned is focusing on various negative aspects of life and assuming a few things as givens unwarrantedly. You're limiting the possible answers within a presupposition that life is already perceived badly.
