E = god

firstly, there is no god only energy, an energy which created itself, replicated and exploded to form what we know as the big bang. over millions of years it cooled to form particles which in turn evolved into atoms, stars, galaxies and planets. everything in the universe is energy and energy is the source from which everything originates.

Welcome, waydejac. You certainly hit the ground running.

I'm not so sure about energy creating itself, though. Might not energy evolve from more basic stuff? Superstring brane or something?

I suppose if you wish to redefine God in any manner you please, God will exist.

But having done this, will the word "God" have any meaning to you, or anyone else?

Oh, and why call energy God? Why not call energy energy?

Actually, most of the universe is a nearly complete vacuum, matter and energy make up a small part of the picture.

everything in the universe is energy, matter is an evolved state of energy. cuz you have atoms, then particles, then energy. nothing is solid there is only the illusion that it is. it is possible for energy to create itself according to the uncertainity principle. energy can neither created nor destroyed by an external force, it can only be alerted according to the law of thermodynamics.

so imagine that in the beginning there was nothing. then suddenly a bright light, a small point of energy that expanded from a sub-atomic particle to the size of our sun within a short amount of time. eventually it would explode out into space and would cool creating atoms, from these atoms would come the material universe.

according to astronomers dark matter makes up about 90% of the universe, they really didnt mention a vaccum. not saying there isn't.

Its only a Label
Friend waydejac,

Agree!
God is only a concept developed by humans to express the total energy available in this whole universe is *god* and that every form and no-form are all parts of that *whole*.

Personally call it *whole* as by now the word *god* has gone to the [read god backwards] {in humor}.
After all all words are *labels* used for an understanding be it one's own name.

Love & rgds

Do you guys want me to wrap sarcasm tags around everything that?

Why? Smart people such as ourselves understood the sarcasm without the marks you mention, and sillier people would ignore the marks, take it at face value, or remove them when quoting us.

What have you achieved by re-labelling energy as God?
