Easter versus Passover? Which is of God? Which is of Satan?

Easter versus Passover? Which is of God? Which is of Satan?

The high holy Sabbaths of the LORD are a time schedule with respect to the “awesome day of the LORD”, which will be in conjunction with the millennium, such as the 7th day of the week. The feast of Easter, formally defined at Constantine’s convened Council of Nicaea, in 325 A.D. is in conjunction with him setting the day of rest, as the 8th day of the week, the day of his sun god, Sol Invictus, which is Sunday, which is in conjunction with the “eighth day”, the day after the 7th day of the feast of Unleavened Bread.

(Leviticus 23:36) On the feast of the “eighth day”, following the Feast of Booths" “an offering by fire” is required by the “LORD”. Being that feast is called the “Last Great Day”, one would think that that fire would be the “lake of fire”, which is dedicated for use by Satan and his followers, with special accommodations made for the devil, the beast and the false prophet (Revelation 20:10)

Passover is based on a lunar calendar, and Easter is based on a solar calendar. Yeshua was buried in the evening of the 14th of Nissan, on the 4th day of the week. The 5th day of the week, Friday, would be the 15th of Nissan, a high holy Sabbath, the 1st day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. The grave was empty on the evening of the 7th day of the week, prior to the 1st day of the week, which dawns/starts on the evening of the 7th day of the week (John 20:1). The sign of Jonah is 3 days and 3 nights. Yeshua was not buried on the 6th day of the week (Friday), and raised 1 day and 2 nights afterward. .

You might want to take more care with the festivals of God, for they are the flow chart for the “day of the LORD”, which is just behind the door. (Mt 24:33).

New American Standard Bible Leviticus 23:36
'For seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and present an offering by fire to the LORD; it is an assembly. You shall do no laborious work.

Well Easter is a lot more fluffy than Passover.

Years ago my son came home from a private Catholic school (we are not catholic) and asked his mother what the passover is. His mother told him she had no idea go ask dad. He came yo me and asked what the passover was and I told him. He ran back to mom and told her. Mom runs back to me and tells me to quit making up stupid scary crap and telling him. lol. That's why we have Easter I think.

Neither is of the Father. Star alignments were of astrologers. The stars having to align to celebrate or recreate a former event is a pagan belief. Same with birthdays.

"Flow chart"? Dang... if Yeshua is a programmer, I may just be sold on believing now!

That verse is from the wrong holiday. There is no eighth day of convocation after Passover.

You need to take a larger over view. The festivals are windows to the "awesome day of the LORD".(Joel 2:31-32). It starts out with the Passover, which is the passing over of the angel of death, and then the 7 days of Unleavened Bread, which align with Israel fleeing from the king of Egypt. That Passover is just coming up, and foretells the timeline for the next fleeing from the kings of the nations Zechariah 14:5, and when leaven is supposed to thrown out of the house. That will end up around 5 months later with the Feast of Trumpets (warning trumpets), the Day of Atonement (Hosea 5:14-6:3), the Feast of Tabernacles (when Israel will live in booths and a sacrifice by fire is made each day, called the Feast of Ingathering/Ex 34:22/the gathering of the wheat/Matthew 13:30/Ezekiel 36:24. The wheat, being the saints (Zechariah 13:9), after the refining fire of Zechariah 13:9, and then finally the Last Great Day. As we are at a Jubilee, when Israel is returned their land (Ezekiel 37:25), and debts are forgiven, 50 years past when Judah was given back all of Jerusalem (Joel 3:1), and 2 times 50 years past the battle of Megiddo, whereas the Germans and Ottomans were defeated at Megiddo, and the Balfour Declaration gave Jewish Zionist access to Judea, would correspond to Zechariah 14:11, when Israel would "dwell in security", 50 years past 1967. The "Last Great Day" would correspond to the 8th day, which is the day following the 7th day of God's rest, which would represent the "Christian" 8th day of rest, Sunday, in honor of the Satan/Sol Invictus, which for "Christians", is the day "Satan"/devil/serpent/dragon, finds his unrest in "the lake of fire". The 7th day for "Christians", represents the 1000 years of the 7th day, which is approaching according to the Jewish calendar. That would mirror the 7th day of creation, whereas God rested. The 8th day is when the followers of the "serpent" (Genesis 3:1) would rest. The Gentiles are represented by the "adulteress" of Hosea 3, who was to remain for "many days", until the "sons of Israel return and seek the LORD their God and David their king; and they will come trembling to the LORD and to His goodness in the last days. We are now "at the end of the age"/"end time"/"last days" (Daniel 12:9 &13).

That's all so long and wordy it almost sounds scholarly. I didn't follow it atall.

One has to be better than Einstein to figure this out.

One thing I was able to notice was that your explanation has passover and winter harvest in the time of the summer and vineyard harvest. Which seems rather odd to okies like me.

Christ and Passover... 'The Heart of the Gospel' --
Read EVERY relevant Scripture in the last chapters of the four Gospels, in textual sequence put together in chronological and logical, historical order, word for word, verse by verse, context to context, using the King James Version interlinear with the Greek, and every shadow of doubt about Christ's perfect fulfilment of the Passover of Yahweh's "three days thick darkness" is dispelled sola Scriptura as per the Article of the Christian Confession of Faith, I believe in Christ, who was crucified, who died and was buried, and who “ROSE from the dead according to the Scriptures THE THIRD DAY”!

Sorry I was unclear as to the timing of the 8th day. The reply post to Tumah should set the timing in perspective. I assumed people would know what the "eighth day" represented in Leviticus 23:36.

The eighth day was the eighth day from and including the day of preparation daylight only (verse 40) BEFORE the seven days the Israelites tabernacled for seven days night and day. (verse 41) The eighth day therefore was the seventh day of STAYING under tree branches. IT WAS NOT THE FIRST DAY AFTER the seven days of tabernacles. "Ye shall stay in booths seven days." verse 42. Not eight days.

The "eighth day" (Leviticus 23:36) , the day following the 7 days of the Feast of Tabernacles, is separate from the Feast of Tabernacles. The "Feast of Tabernacles", the Feast of Ingathering (Ex 34:22), is only tied to Passover, because Passover is when the angel of death flies over, and the "the Feast of Ingathering is the last part of "the awesome day of the LORD. The 8th day, the "Last Great Day", follows the ending of the "awesome day of the LORD", as in the end of the millennium, whereas Passover, with its' angels of death (Revelation 8:2), would be part of the beginning.

Sorry, that I was unclear, but if you had actually had read the text I took time to compose to answer your post, you would have understood I was always referring to the "eighth day", the day following the "feast of Tabernacles. Passover represents the beginning event of the "awesome day of the LORD" (Joel 2:31-32), and the Feast of Tabernacles represents the end. The "eighth day" represents the beginning of another era.

The sign of Noah was not the rising on the “third day”, but after 3 days and 3 nights. The sign of rising on the “third day” was per Hosea 6:2, whereas Judah and Ephraim would rise on the third day, after two days of being “crushed in judgment” (Hosea 5:11). The “articles of the Christian Confession of Faith” stem from the Council of Nicaea, which was convened by the “beast with two horns like a lamb”, the Roman emperor Constantine, the 7th head of the beast of Revelation 17:10, who was to “deceive” “those who dwell on the earth” (Revelation 13:14).
