End of Democracy

-- “Welcome to the end of democracy. We are here to overthrow it completely,” Posobiec said as the event began.

“We didn’t get all the way there on January 6, but we will endeavor to get rid of it and replace it with this, right here,” he said, gesturing to the crowd and holding up his fist.

As he spoke, Bannon laughed and said, “Amen!” --

Is anyone else here excited about the "end of democracy"?

He was holding up a cross. Not that that's any better, but I take it to mean he is looking for a theocracy.

Would Christian's prefer a theocracy?

The US is well on the path towards it via the Democrats.
Total rubbish! You really haven't got one friggin' clue about where Democrats sit on the political spectrum. And probably not much clue about anybody else in the U.S.

The fact is this: a Canadian Conservative is generally a little to the left of a U.S. Democrat. And many American Republicans are now to the right of Victor Orban. Only 54% of Democrats actually fit within the definition of "politically liberal."

Try actually doing a little study on the subject, why don't you, instead of slinging uninformed nonsense willy-nilly.

Yes, I think there are many American Christians who think they'd prefer a theocracy -- but only because they've never lived under one and haven't the vaguest clue of what it might mean for their own supposedly-valued "liberty." Real lIberty is the very last thing a sacerdotal political leadership would condone.
