People don't realize that "concentration camp" was a euphemism that the Nazis started using when the Allies accused them of running Death Camps. It is more of a disservice to call the Nazi death camps, concentration camps because that is exactly what the Nazis wanted, they wanted people were being put into concentration camps to quarantine them from the public rather than having people view has mass murdering death camps. Like how we used the term collateral damage when we talk about civilian deaths
